On all the newer V series phones, Cingular chose to add a sh*tload of images,tones,vids that are all LOCKED. How the hell do I get these off my phone, so I can at least have a little bit more memory.

Does anyone know if Cingular will carry any Nokia flips or slidker this year? If so which ones and when? Thanks for any information you may have.

A female customer calls in wanting to remove air detail from her bill that has already cut. Of course the rep courteously advises her that unfortunately since the bill has already cut we can't prevent it from this bill but can for later bills... She starts crying and screaming saying that we are going to cause a divorce if her husband sees some numbers on that air detail... She says we don't care about customers and that we're ruining her life...

Of course this call gets uglier but I want opinion from customers mostly... This is a common call... Is the wireless provider really at fault because somebody can't stop screwing around?

i bought a new 64k sim card today and every time i power on my moto v551 it says "insert sim" then waits 5 seconds and then it boots up...why does it do that??

So anyways...I use Cingular and my friend uses Verizon...


Quite often already, we get our call dropped when we're on the phone together. At that point, I immediately dial her number and I get someone else on the line. She dials my number at the same time, and she gets some stranger on the line!

She assures me that this phenomenon happens only with me. It's strange...I guess it's Cingular's fault then, right? How is this possible? I dial her at Verizon, I get some stranger. She dials me at Cingular, she gets a stranger too...Is this possible?

are cingular deals available for customers who are trying to migrate from ATT plan to cingular plan ? (a change that anyway requires a new plan and a phone )

Hi, I have been with Verizon for some time and am thinking about switching and trying Cingular. ATT sucked in my area of upstate NY but hear it is all good now that Cingular took over. Wondering if anyone knew about Cingular coverage in rural areas such as Alfred NY, Neward Valley NY etc. PLaces you can get some signal with Verizon. Any feedback would be very helpful as I am getting the Cingular bug do to price plans, data plans etc. HELP 🙂

I am current ATT customer and called Cingular Telesales to place an order for a 2nd line this monday. I was asked all my personal information -- in effect opening up a new account at Cingular -- with a number port for my primary line. I picked a couple of phones. All good.

Tuesday, I called in with a question about my order and it cannot be found!!! I am told there is no record of it in the system anywhere. I called a couple of days later and learned the same thing. Nothing in the system!

So I placed a 2nd order -- again giving all my personal info and picking two phones etc. Today, I learned that my 2nd order is being shipped via Fedex.

Questions: Anyone have any idea what might have happened to my 1st order? Is it likel...

I have had the worst service from AT&T Wireless and NOW CINGULAR!!! I used to have a Nokia 2260 with AT&T Wireless with an Anywhere Anybody Plan for 39.99 where I would get unlimited anytime minutes and 600 NW minutes. In Nov I went over my minutes by 2000 minutes, which IS obviously ATT's Fault. They breached their contract!!!! I called them up and I was told they put me on the wrong Plan!!! what a bunch of scam artists!! the only thing I was offered was 60 minutes!! what a slap in the face. I just recently found out I will be moving in janruary to central nevada and I'm being told I wont get any service!! what a joke! another breach of my contract but I'm still stuck with 4 cancellation fees at 175 a piece. all I want is for my phone to wo...

Treo's 650 for Cingular will be out the end of February. Yes, it is on the rebate form. Remember when the Nokia 6230 was suppose to be out in July-August, and then appeared in October? Phones are always listed early on the rebate forms. Same goes for SE z500.....it was listed 3 months ago.

Starting this Sunday the Motorola V3 will be for sale at Best Buys. I guess the 100 day exclusive is comming to an end. Look for some really tasty deals on this phone with instant and MIR's. This is the case for the Dallas market. Elsewhere who knows? Oh this phone will be for sale at the top 10...

I hear cingular is rolling out new phones that wil support UTMS and be able to have internet speeds of 3g. I was wondering i have a motorola v551 and was wondering if this phone is UTMS compatiable? ALso when cingular rolls out 3g if my phone will be able to use these two features or if i will have to get a new phone?

Does anyone know when Cingular will be offering the Treo 650? The date seems to be slipping everyweek.

The new Cingular was dead nuts last in almost every way in their survey. Worse than Sprint and T-Mobile. I was very surprised.

Over the years, I have had cell phone service with Verizon, Sprint, Cellular One, Cingular, AT&T (TDMA long before the merger) and Nextel. Out of all those, I currently have service with Verizon and Cingular - the two I like the best and am most satisfied with.

Is T-Mobile coming of age? Is it really that good or is this survey screwed up somehow? I can't believe Sprint did as well as they did.
