Does anybody know if the v620 will be coming to Cingular anytime soon?

POS is a P.O.S.

Audio Manager and Email

I recently posted these questions in the Nokia 6230 forum, but figured this would be a good spot for them too:

" have managed to set up a playlist on my phone playing songs from my MMC card (original 32 MB card that came with the phone). Then I deleted one song and added another (through bluetooth).

"ow when I click on the playlist folder in audio manager, it freezes. How can I adjust the playlist or create a new one?"

And there's also this one:

"I recently got my phone to retrieve emails (no small feat mind you) and am looking to make it only download the headers. This will cut down on downloads and only download the entire body of emails that I want. Anyone know how to do this.

Why do customers think fees should be waived for them.

I have worked in cellular for about two years in customer service. It tripps me out how some people think it is so unfair that they have to pay fees. I just don't understands you get a free phone and you have to pay a fee for activation or upgrade that makes sense to me. this kills me why do some customers think they are so special that the fees should be waived. I do not understand help me to understand these people.

CINGULAR PAY ?

Im a blue to orange rep. I am inquiring on cingular pay. We have had alot of rumors going around that our pay is going to be dropped because of the cingular aquisition. One of our trainers went to Chicago for cingular training, and advised us that there reps are started off and only $10.00 per hour. Is this true? Also at ATT we have a 10% night differential, would this change? Does anyone have anymore insight on this, or know what the change, if any would be? Thanks in advance.

What scares me the most..., is the last 3 lines of this flyer.... that they have succeeded in stopping many towers....

I think its time, we stop them!!!!

New Cingular Agent

Hello,

I just recieved a contract from Cingular to become an an exclusive agent. I was wondering if anyone has ever read the contract and if you seen anything that would worry you.

It is being sent to a lawyer but I just wanted to hear some opinions.

DirectBill Charges???

Just got my first Cingular bill (combined billing through SBC), and sorting through all the charges.

Under my 2nd line (FT Plan) for Other Charges and Credits, I see 2 charges for DirectBill Charges--one for $3.99 and the other for $1.99. This/These charge(s) do not appear for the other FT (main billing) line.

These charges appear with the Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee and the Service Est. Fee (One-time activation).

I can't use Cingular.com to look at My Account minutes (won't let me in) and I have to use the Combined Billing option, which tells me next to nothing on total charges.

Does anyone know what these charges are for? Under the Monthly Service Charges (both FT lines), Cingular DirectBill is shown with $0.

Need Opinions From Cingular/SunCom Sales Reps & 3rd Party Dealers

Hi,
You all may know me from such threads as "OH MY GOD CINGULARS CUSTOMERS SERVICE IS HORRIBLE", "Sell Me To Cingular", and also "Keep Me With Verizon." Well yesterday I decided to jump on the GSM wagon for the heck of it because I was at the end of my VZW contract and I was bored (Yeah I know Im a big hypocrite). So I signed a 1 year deal with SunCom (soon to be Cingular March 1st) and picked up the UnPlan and the SE T637. I have to throw in that the voice clarity on my SunCom phone has been better then my VZW v710, but thats another thread that I dont want to start. Yeah SST are the F**K ups. Just called care to consolidate two customer accounts and heard "dude you are the coolest, yeah get me that CD... I just applied for a job today making $22.00 and hour." to paraphrase. So I whistled and the guy says "a a a this is Mark thank you a a a for holding" so I told him don't worry I'm just SST, he didn't say anything. So I spared him the humiliation and hung up. Hopefully the call was short enough so he won't get QA'd. But if he does that would be the best. Damn I hope i'm not, I'll prolly get marked off for hanging up.

Help switching

I'm looking to switch from Sprint to Cingular, Call performance has degraded over the past 4 years.

What is the difference between switching at a Cingular store, Kiosk, Best Buy or Rapid Wireless type stores?

I live in a Blue area (55304) and the At&T stores just seem overwhelmed. I think they are confused about being in the transition from Blue to Orange. They also seem busy dealing with unhappy customers.

I'm interested in the SE S710a camera phone, I have noticed that the last 3 phones released are not available in my area including the Z500. Will I be able to get this phone when released or is my market being treated as a second tier market?

Fact or Fiction?

Relocating to Long Island, New York area codes 631 and 516 and zipcodes are in the 11700's.
I'm new to the cell world. Can anyone tell me if Cingular has good coverage there? A friend suggested Verizon, but he told me Cingular has better phones.
I could use some help here, thank you in advance.

đŸ˜ĸ Can anyone explain why a company of Cingular's size and highly regarded reputation would maintain any type of a relationship with such a criminal organization as THE MOBILE SOLUTION??? Lets see, just today some of the issues I had to try and resolve as a direct result of the incompetence from TMS>>>
1) Prevent a customer from churning after they received their first bill stating they had 200 minutes of overage charges as a result of TMS writing a contract for a $39.99 plan with 1,200 anytime minutes. Blue has never offered this plan and TMS provided mis-info.
2) Try and explain to a customer why a TMS rep. would fake calling CARE when the customer tried to return phone and cancel within 30-days and then customer continued rec'in...
