Well, that didn't work to create a link so here is the shortcut.
PS, Verizon Has 6000 something votes already, more than double that of the next competitor sprint, so to the trolls here I am not attempting to swing the vote.

Cingular Customers....Donate To The Tsunami Relief!!!
By Mike Dano (RCR News)
Jan 5, 2005
Starting Thursday Cingular Wireless will send text messages to all of its 46 million customers, giving them a chance to make $1 or $2 donations to the Asian tsunami disaster relief effort, charges that will appear on their monthly bills.
Cingular's offering mirrors that of a variety of other European and Asian carriers, which have set up similar text-messaging donation schemes. The move also marks a further evolution of the U.S. text-messaging market, which has traditionally trailed that of the more advanced European and Asian wireless markets.

Gait/GSM, Need some help
"Yep, those lovely gait phones can now benefit from the GSM nation plans. I set my sister up on it over thanksgiving while she was visiting. I'm pretty sure we have to select the technology as GSM/GAIT (as opposed to GSM) and enter the IMEI, ESN, and SIM, but then there should be no problems."
That is a direct quote to help describe what I am talking about. I called CS numerous times and tried to explain this to them and they say I will be charged roaming fees and this does not work. Can any one please help me out with this? The new GSM plans are cheaper but I like the coverage my nokia 6340i ...

Question being i'm still rather cautious before loading it up on my phone and wanted to know if anyone has had experiences with this... Success or Failure?
Also, those that have had Success... What would be the best way to load it up on the phone? Not necessarily the easiest, but the most reliable.
Thanks in advance.
Does reporting a big wireless service company to the FCC or BBB really do any good?
So with a company as big as Cingular or say Verizon or any of the other providers does a complaint to the FCC or the BBB really do anything? I'm not so sure because with the number of subscirbers there's got to be a certain expectation of complaints. I'm thinking that unless a decent percentage of the subscriber base complains nothing happens. (if you want I'm sure you could throw in politics, etc into the array too I'd be sure almost nothing got done)

NO MORE FREE PHONES TIME FOR EBAY.............
They keep comparing it to cable companies and car dealerships and other stupid things like that. Well it is true cable companies don't give you free tv's, but they don't lock you into a contract either. You can leave at any time with no termination fee. Satellite tv from what I understand makes you sign a contract, but they give you free equipment. I for one would not mind paying full price for a phone if I would not have to sign a contract. I do not think it is bad for a customer like me who pays 100 dollars a month, 2400 dollars every 2 years to get a 139 dollar phone for free. It doesn't hurt you or...

Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right
With such a large survey sampling, the results are highly valid, statistically. It is very interesting reading for anyone who is considering their first phone, or who may be considering changing carriers.
