I have a Samsung x475 and as most reps are probably aware, it gets horrible reception and i want it replaced. i have already received another x475 and the reception is still a problem, but i qualify for a seperate model. Which are available and which should i get?

the suggested retail on the x475 is $120 so the 3220, v188, and the x495 ($10 diff) are all viable. but i want to get the 6101, with a difference of $30. Is it at all possible to get a 6101 for free? if not, can i pay the difference? if neither of those are an option, can i get the x495 and then swith to the 6101? it would require five exchanges, but is it possible?

Whats your suggeestion?

German telecommunications operator Deutsche Telekom AG (DT) has no plans for an initial public offering for its U.S. wireless unit T-Mobile USA now, Chief Executive Kai Uwe Ricke said at an investor conference Thursday.

"I would not rule it out forever - you cannot rule out anything forever, but right now, why should we do that?" Ricke said at the Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) Communacopia conference in New York. His comments were broadcast on Deutsche Telekom's Web site.

is this true? i heard that they have a new campaign that tries to sell their products to the gay community. I mean i guess thats true seeing how there was a gay couple featured in that "YOU! YOU! YOU!" couples talk free commercial. Also with that new commercial with the son putting on a dress. i think its great that a cellular community has the guts to explore new horizons and try to sell their products to my people. i mean, did u know that the gay community in the US has over $50 billion in spending power? but its too bad that most businesses wont market towards us. T-mobile is smart for doing this, for i will guarantee you tmobile will get lots of new costumers if the gay community is marketed to!!! 😁

I am hearing from some T-Mobile reps something about a SKIII on the horizon. They said possibly Christmas this year, but spring '06 definitely. Is there any truth to this or is this just another one of those rumors? The rep mentioned it has EDGE. Any T-mobile reps out there?

As a lot of you probably know, T-Mobile reception in outlying areas can be very spotty.

The recent job I took (and the place we moved to) are in the very fringe areas of reception, but I don't want to change carriers.

I'm looking for a phone that offers an easy external antenna connection option. The Moto V180 and V330 I have can accept an ext. ant. but you have to take the back cover off to do it!

Didn't all phones used to be able to be hooked up to an ext. ant. in your car? Remember you used to see cars with those foot long black ant. on the rear window?

Phonescoop indicates that the new Nokia 6101 has some sort of different jack on it than most phones, but doesn't really explain the difference.

I did it! I got over it! Last night a friend of mine wanted to get a cell phone and I recommended T-Mobile because it would be within his price range! Although reps do make a lot, I have decided that I don't want to work nights, weekends, and holidays. I like having my weekends off.

I like how the new nokia 3250 phone look and I would like to know the price and would the phone be with t-mobile.

As usual, the new information on the RAZR 2, is just enough information to frustrate. You know that it is in R&D, you know that it is only a prototype, and you know it's GSM with some new bells an whistles. No news on potential release dates and which carriers if any in the US will have the phone for availablility. Argh. Oh well, looks cool and if it does get ITunes, it should be interesting. I just use regular MP3 players personnally. They meet the need and don't cost a fortune. Besides, why do I need more than one or two hours of songs at a time? I only work out for 2 hours at a time. And here's to hoping that both national GSM car...

OK, So I keep hearing people in my area and people on this site wondering when or if T-Mobile will get PTT. Can someone please present a good argument on how you think PTT is more efficient or better than just regular cell service? Because from what I can see, PTT is so snnoying and inefficient. You have to wait for that stupid chirp and then talk, then wait for them to get it and then wait for them to chirp and talk back. It just seems like a little kids game to me (you know, back in the day when I got my army man combat set for christmas and my brother and I played with those walky-talkies for days) I dunno, this is more of a general wonder on what all of your opinions are 🙂 thanks guys and gals

I recently got my phone wet and now I have to get a new one. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to pay retail price for a new one. I have seen other phones like T Mobile, but they carry the name of another company (Cingular, Virgin, etc.) and are for prepaid. Is there any way I can buy these, or maybe even a tract-phone and just put my T-Mobile Sim card in them? Thanks!

I been with t-mobile for over a year and seen forums about push to talk and edge coming to t-mobile but I want to know what edge is suppose to do?

The n-90 has a lot of cool features but the pricing.Anyway I want to know if they plan on selling it in stores and if it would be for t-mobile because if you see the mode on it, it is gsm. Plus the n70 and n91 because another reason is they have similarities to the n-gage.

Here is a question for anyone who knows. My father lost his RAZR today, it was an unlocked cingular model used on Tmobile. Is there anyway i can get it locked out of the system so the guy that has it and wont give it back to my father cant use it at all? It was lost outside of a starbucks and when we called it the guy answered and said he only found the sim card, who puts the sim card in a phone to see if anyone calls! So if there is a way please let me know, i really would like to screw this guy out a phone he thought he was getting for free.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-- Motorola CEO Ed Zander on Friday showed off two hotly anticipated phones he said will be available a month ahead of schedule.

Speaking to reporters at the Churchill Club at the Computer History Museum here, Zander said sales of the Motorola Q and a pink version of the Razr cell phone are now expected to begin in December instead of in January or later in the first quarter, as originally projected. Depending on supplies of the phones, delivery to customers in some cases may not happen until after Christmas, however.
