unlocked gsm phone for us

I have a v635 unlocked for my travel to mexico and europe. I just bought a 1000 anytime minutes card from amazon for tmobile so it will last for a year. So does this mean that I cannot simply go into a tmobile store, buy a sim, use my card and have the phone working here? Do I actually have to go buy one of their pieces of crap prepaid phones to get the account working? I am only getting this so I can keep the phone active in the usa. For most of my calls here I use verizon with a samsung i730 pda smartphone.

"I Love Moto V300" = Moron, idiot, etc...

You are the perfect example of a retail customer. A complaining, un-intelligent moron who has no idea how Business works. I have never heard someone talk so blatantly about their own stupidity.
You said, "I tried very hard to join your team, but obviously you are too stupid to realize what great talent I possess in the wireless industry. I know more than your average customer, yet I am not a perfect fit for you? Well you are not a perfect fit for me either. I have had so *much* problems with getting good signal." Ok, first knowing more than the average customer is not something to brag about. The average customer knows nothing, so nothing + 2 = Nothing Special!!! Almost forgot, please go tell your friends. Tell them T-Mobile stinks because...

Shipping/Processing Orders - Credits?

So to make a long story short, I ordered a phone last Wednesday with a smart access plan. I had it planned out that by the time I would get the phone ( a max of 5 days ) my other phone contract and monthly bill would expire.. When I placed the order I was promised the phone would be here Friday of that following week. Well after not seeing it, I waited till last Monday and called them up asking what was going on - I was not even able to see my order on the webpage nor could the phone system find it when you call in for help. I got a CSR that said they submitted a ticket and couldn't see where my order was at because the shipping company closed that following weekend, and apparently the shipping company or whatever hasn't responded to sol...

SmartAccess to Regular Acct Conversion Question

Okay, so last night I called in to CC to fix up some issues with my AutoPay, and something sparked my interest.

I started my T-Mo service 12 months/2 weeks ago, and since then have had 3 suspensions along the way. Now, I have a SmartAccess account, so it was my understanding that I would have to wait another 3 months (due to the interruptions) before I would be eligible to switch to a normal account.

However, when I talked to the rep, he said that I was eligible and would be more than happy to convert me. I'm talking to him about adding on a second line for my fiance and was checking out what deals he could give me. They were pretty crappy prices, and I personally am holding out for the V360, so I told him let's just ...

SmartAccess

I am a sales rep from Chicago and tell me if you get this a lot. SmartAccess customers comin to your store throwing their phone at you cursing at you because their phone is turned off. And when you pull up their account, their balance is $170 and they only want to pay $40. You are trying to be nice to them and explain to them what's going on but all you want to tell them is "if your broke a$$ paid the bill on time we wouldn't be having this problem". I hope T-Mobile gets rid of SmartAccess not only will it cut down on problems with ignorant people like that but we could activate more lines, no more restrictions for one phone only.

Getting Rid of Smartaccess??? Take Control- Taking over???

I don't know if anyone else has heard this. But, the market trials T-Mobile has been doing with "Take Control" have been having some positive results. I'm aware of three different versions Take control, the one I'm talking about basically eliminates the possibility of a customer being charged overages. When a customer reaches their minute mark they use a T-Mobile TO GO refill card to get extra minutes if they need them. This particular market trial allows for $500 deposit waivers, but has limited plan and feature choices. I heard SMART ACCESS IS GOING BYE BYE. Has anyone else heard this???

Will T-Mob get the W800 or K750i?

Anyone out there have any leads on whether or not T-Mobile will be picking up the Sony Ericsson W800i or the K750i?

T-Mobile Europe has the D750, which is essentially the same as the K750 from what I underestand. I believe they're both the W800 and K750 compatible with the network, and want one of these phones so bad I'd probably pay the ETF to get out of my current contract to get one (unless they go to Cingular). 😛

If they're not planning on carrying them, who should I write or call to put in my two cents?

Thanks in advance,

Cingular Connecting Faster

Ok, i have t-mobile(thank you god) my mom has Cingular(Good Luck) and usually when you call someone it takes about a half or a full ring before the phone starts to ring. but whn you call Cingular it rings immediatly to the phone. now i thought maybe because of gsm, but t mobile is gsm and it take a ring before the phone starts to ring.

Does anyone know why? 😕 😕
