If u look at the two phones coming out for tmobile: v171 and the samsung e335 they both operate on the 800/1900 band...in my area 1900 band cannot find signals...and the 800 as stated by the phonescoop link is the same thing as 850 which means maybe tmobile is trying to buy roaming agreements from cingular...b/c how else would this phone find service in my area...right now my v300 uses the 900 band? who knows

does anyone know if tmobile or cingular is gonna start offering ptt service? the new nokia 6682/6681 had ptt and looks like its going to be available to both cingular and tmobile...(says 900 instead of 800 for 6682{tmobile})y would they take on a phone with ptt if they dont offer it?

I haven't seen this addressed, but anyone's minute useage is available to anyone who calls into T-Mobile customer care. You can put any T-Mobile subscriber's number as the number you're checking either on the voice response system or the other system where you just input a 10 digit phone number. Personally I don't care who knows how many minutes I'm using but I really wonder why that information is readily available to anyone who calls into T-Mobile.

this question is prob really silly to u guys, but i am not at all familar with t-mobile devices. what exactly is a sidekick ? what can you do with it? just another type of phone?

I recently bought a new sim card b/c I had a little voicemail box "icon" problem w/ the old one. When I put in the new one I noticed a few small things on the new one. I noticed that my phone was able to hold a signal longer and better than my old sim card. I also noticed that "411 & MORE" & "Voicemail" number was automatically put into the phonebook. So get I get better service and some new things along w/ that new sim card. So now I am wondering if you should or if it is recommened to change your sim card for a new one every once in a while. Does anyone have any ideas or comments? 🙂

I wonder how long t-mobile can live through this?

So I was talking to my Uncle on my A630 had TMo for like 3 months now with this phone. All of a sudden he starts saying, "Hello? Hello?" and then hangs up. I could hear him, but him not me. He has Sprint so who knows what happaned.

I try calling him back and get "Call Failed" displayed on the unit along with just a beep. I tried after a few more seconds. Same thing happened. So I try calling my work number, a landline... Same thing once more.

I then power cycle the phone... Try again, no good won't do anything other than display call failure. I then call my cell from my landline it rings on my end, but my cell does not, it then goes to my voicemail.

Hmmm, I think maybe it is the SIM. I ask my co worker if I could try my SIM in h...

👿 What is the deal? We have sat back and waited. For what? I am so close to leaving Tmobile after 6 years of service because lack of products. Why are they waiting so long to release any new phones? Verizon, Cingular, and Sprint have all release at least 5 phones since Tmobile released its last one. That's pathetic. I have a samsung e715 right now and would like to upgrade but their isn't much of a choice. I dont want to waste my upgrade now and then have new phones come out. I have sent in the e715 at least 5 times due to poor screen quality on the phone and several other bugs. I have had this phone since it came out last year and am desperatly waiting for something new. Any help here? Give me some rumors. Make me feel warm inside.

T-Mo used to throw in some free text message with their plans, why don't they do that anymore? It would be a bonus and also cause less headaches for the people who call in and get all upset because they have $0.10 in text messaging charges.

Hi. I just received a strange call from T-Mobile wanting me to take a survey of my recent call to T-mobile customer care. A man asked me a couple of questions about the rep that took my call when I called in, and also how do I rate T-Mobile, and would I recommend T-Mobile to a family member or friend, and wanted me to rate them on a scale from 1 to 5. 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Then he asked me, why did I call T-Mobile cust. care. I also asked him, is this call taking minutes from me, since its an incoming call, and he said "No", since its a call from T-Mobile.

For some reason, "I don't trust him"! Is this a scam? Do they normally call people to check their rating from customers?
