Moto Welcome Sound

I have a V600. Is there anyway, other than keeping the phone on silent or vibrate, to stop the moto sound when you startup or shut down the phone? Do all Motorolas do it?

How many people can use same tower?

Does anyone know how many people can use a cell tower at the same time, or is there a way to calculate it?

For people who know about the Sidekick 2

Is the sidekick 2 all thats its cracked up to be? Is the screen actually bright to the point that you can see it clearly? Does the webpages load up real quick like T-Mobile says on their website "at lighting speeds"? I hear people saying that it doesn't have Java script, what is the benefit of the Java script feature? Thanks!

Local Woman Receives Racially Hateful Text Messages

Sat Feb 19,12:03 PM ET

A local woman said she received racially hateful text messages on her cell phone shortly after making a complaint to T-Mobile.

"I thought it was a joke," the woman said.

She wanted only to be identified as "Delia" because she said the wording of the message embarrassed her.

According to Delia, the message said, "you need to go back to Mexico you taco-bending whore."

Delia said the message was sent an hour after she filed a complaint with T-Mobile about making phone calls to her hometown of Monterrey, Mexico. She s...

To settle a few things:

People have their choice when it comes to wireless carriers. I respect anyones decision for whatever reason they have. For those of you (and you know who you are) continue to post nothing but antagonizing garbage, please stop harassing the people who like coming to these type of forums for actual discussion and information.

T-Mobile is a very good company and I do support it. That's not saying cingular is bad, or verizon is bad, we're just another choice consumers have.

I will also use this opportunity to point out some of our highlights:

Bigger isn't always better. It's no secret we don't have the largest coverage area, and I don't think anyone has ever disputed that, but I bet a lot of people don't know that even though our cover...

New Prepaid Sidekick 2

I just checked on the T-Mobile website and they added the Sidekick 2 to the prepaid line-up. That thing is expensive. I also heard that it is $1.00 a day for unlimited data usage no matter if you use it or not. The airtime usage is .15 cents per minute. It comes with $15 worth of airtime.

Here is the link:

My Goodness!

When will T-Mobile roll out any new telephones? It seems this company just sits and brings out a new phone every six months or so? Cingular on the other hand is rolling out new telephones every month, or so it seems!

T-MOBILE...Hacked Again *shakes head*

http://thebosh.com/archives/2005/02/paris_hiltons_h_ ... »

Maybe it could happen to any carrier??...but I'm really starting to wonder about T-Mobile's security. This kind of press is NOT good for them at all. If they lose their celebrity endorsements it's gonna hurt T_Mob's "hip" factor..which is one of the few things they have going for 'em.

Rep question: Upgrading

I've had T-mobile for 11 months now with a family plan, which 2 phones are up for upgrades. I called the other day to get a new phone and the guy told me the TM150 would be $199.99 with a $100 mail in rebate. I was able to get him to go down to $80 with no rebate since the website has it for $50 after an instant rebate(plus $35 activation for new customers). He, also, told me the E315 would be $60($25+$35 activation from website). I had to make sure of the price, so I told him I'd call back and he said hed make a note on the account of the price I was quoted. Anyway, when I called back they told me the E315 would be $179.99 and the TM150 would be $199.99, but they saw that there was a note about the TM150 and they could do it for $80. ...

Questions about the Sharp TM150?

I'm thinking about adding a 4th line to my account. The phone is for my mom, and I honestly don't want to spend much money because I'm poor right now.
As some of you may have noticed, the TM150 is free now for new activations on T-mobile.com. I've never had a chance to play with that phone live, but only on the T-mobile website and by using SL... Anyways, those of you who own it or have used the phone, what do you guys think of it? Does it have good reception (not as good as a Nokia 6010 would be acceptable, but something similar)?
Is it a durable reliable phone?
Please chime in, and tell me what you guys think about that phone. I'm thinking about buying it on Saturday.

Thanks a lot

Don't go buying any phones just yet...

...T-Mobile is in the works to launch 20 new devices this year alone! A large portion will be coming out in spring/summer quarters. So, if you had plans to splurge on a cool phone soon, just wait. It will be well worth it!!! (this is especially important for all of you employees whom know we have only one upgrade at discounted price per year) 😉

I am so angry!!!

I had a quick question for a csr, Can you guys do a handset upgrade for a customer without extending the contract? because to my knowledge, the upgrade pilocy was to get new customer pricing on a renewal of the contract. I just lost two sales because cc rep said she could send this customer 2 new C-225's for 19.99 a piece and NO CONTRACT EXTENTION!!!! I am so irate right now. 😈 😈 please advise thank you in advance
