Suncom--Suncom *shakes head* has better coverage in Northern Virginia (Harrisonburg--RIGHT OFF THE FRIGGIN HIGHWAY).

I'm looking at a Suncom phone with 6 bars, and my excellent E315 (phone, not the service) getting 2 bars inside this building. It's pitiful T-mobile.

I think I'll be switching carriers very soon.

Can a T-Mobile rep, or someone equally as knowledgable, list for me all the new phones T-Mobile is going to come out with before January '05?

Will there be a follow up to the Sidekick 2 with a Sidekick 3 for T-Mobile??

I am currently with AT&T and use Bluetooth to connect my Pocket PC (iPaq 1945) to my Nokia 3650 (using #99...#) to surf the Web, check email, etc. It works really well. They charge $24.99/mo for "unlimited" mMode access. The problems is that you only have truly unlimited access if you view the mMode content on your phone. If you connect your handheld to the phone via Bluetooth and surf they charge you per kb!

I am planning to switch to T-Mobile. My question: If I want to do this with T-Mobile (Handheld=>phone=>Web), which data plan do I need (T-zones or T-mobile Internet)? Okay, folks. I'm getting my finances straight enough that I can afford to upgrade soon. I'm a heavy text and data user and I'm very interested in smartphones. I'd prefer Windows Mobile, but I really don't want to spend $500 on a phone. (Mmm, Samsung i600...)

I'm currently with T-Mobile, which is why I'm posting to this forum, but I'm willing to entertain the idea of switching. I'm currently looking at either the Sidekick II or the Blackberry 7100. I can get either one of these for $150 after my upgrade rebate, but I'm hoping to save a bit more.

Does anyone know any online stores where I can get one for a cheaper price? All the stores I find only sell phones with new activation.

Ok...I used to have VZW...the reason...coverage. I grew up in a small town in Michigan between Flint and Saginaw (NW of Detroit)...basically...there were NO other cellular companies that offered services in that area. Fast forward a couple years...I graduated college...and moved to near Grand Rapids, MI...hated the price I was paying, my phone, and the service I was getting with VZW...so I switched to Tmo. I was all excited with my new phone, great family time plan and all that...at least until I went home to my parents'. Where 3 years later...there are still NO other cellular service (Nextel is starting to come in there, but only if you're outside). So...came my dissappointment with Tmo...my parents' house and the area I often visit, is on...

What can be expected from T-Mobile before the end of the year? Does anybody know? Cingular seems to be in line to get several new good and useful toys, but what about T-Mobile?
