Finally got UMA on Samsung T339 to work intenational..

I have NO CLUE what I did or why it took so long. Honestly i didn't do anythng other than keep trying. There were two different wireless networks I would try to connect with and wouldn't work. Then suddenly at one of the spots I got a connection. I was hyped! Then it went away when I messed around with it. After a few tries it came back. Then I went to my main spot where I would use it. It didn't connect right away but then it did. Success ever since!! But I'll let you know if it REALLY worked when the bill comes!! HA!! Now, if I could just get the hell out of Saudi Arabia and back home!!

Any news on Nokia 5800 coming to T-Mo?

From the info I can glean from the web, it is hard to tell if the 5800 will only becoming stateside as a Nokia-branded unlocked, unsubsidized version or whether TMo (and/or AT&T) will be getting "official" versions. Another forum also says something to the effect that the unlocked 5800 will not be 3G on Tmo networks. Any info is appreciated!

This is the last time I promise..

I'm upgrading my phone on Friday but I'm not sure which one to get.I currently have the sidekick slide and i hate it because it turns off by itself and I lose everything for a few hours...and texts that I saved don't come back

Its between the following:

Behold
G1
Sidekick LX
Sidekick 2008

The things I don't like about sidekicks is you can't download more than 10 ringtones and you can't just download ringtones from sites like funformobile.

Another thing that isn't too important but I'd like it if the persons ringtone and text messaging ringtone were the same.

Now that I have my UMA phone..

What the heck is worng with it? I had no problems connecting in the US to a wifi network but oversees is the proble. I tried to connect in the frankfurt airport (where there is a hotspot) and it wouldn't connect. It ried connecting in my final destination (just a regular lynksis router and it won't. I both cases it finds the signal, no security code required on either, but no connect. Anyone have similar problems? I have the samsung T339.

Hotspot@home VS Femtocell

So i've read that at&t and verizon are looking into Femtocell technology, and Sprint's Airave is already on the market. I know t-mobile's hotspot@home is great and makes crystal clear connections, but why wouldn't t-mobile have looked into this first? or at least in conjunction with hs@h? This way anyone can get t-mobile for their house, whether they have a UMA compatible phone or not? Guaranteed it would generate a lot more sales and interest.

Any new Win Mobile Phones coming?

I have a Tmobile wing with WinMo 6

I like the phone but frankly it is underpowered (processor wise) and doesn't have enough ram built in (i regularly run out of memory and i use a 2GB card for storage)

Any new WinMo phones coming out soon?

Fly Free 2008 Problems

FYI
I signed up new myfayve plans during Nov.23-25 to qualify the flyfree tickets. Then in April, to my dismay, I found out I was disqualified for the promotion. Reason: My phones were not "activated" during those 3 days. I contacted customer care which refused to change their decision. Finally I asked to speak to "higher authority" and was given a fax number of "customer relations" to file my complaints. I did that, and in 6 weeks I received 2 booking request forms in the mail, quietly. No apologies, no explainations.

So, for all of you getting denied by T-mo for the tickets, you may try contacting "customer relations", asap.

T-Mobile Reps

T-Mobile Reps: The Blackberry Curve 8900 has appeared on the Blackberry Web Site, and has also appeared on Phonescoop. I was wondering if you had an idea when the phone was going to be released?

Thanks,

Calling all T-Mobile Reps>>>THEY DO EXIST!!!

I have a situation that NO ONE has been able to resolve. Hopefully someone on this forum has the knowledge/experience to help.

I have a customer who currently has 5 lines on an account and wants the @home service. Now, to everyone's general knoweldge the only way for them to accomplish this is to move one of the lines onto a new account along with the @home line to fulfill the @home's 39.99 or higher parent plan requirement.

The problem: By making the customer do this, they are not saving money on their home phone because they need to be charged an additional $40 a month just to have something that costs $10 a month.

The solution: Both I and several activation and customer care reps have seen accounts with SIX...count them...SIX li...

T-mobile or Att&T

I currently have Verizon but I wanna switch to T-mobile or ATT&T, which one is better.

I live in soth florida

T-Mobile seems to have attractive prices, and decent phones, and ATT&T have good phones and rollover minutes.

Which one should I get?

I heard mixed things about them (T-mobile service), and AT&T (roaming and unfriendly customer service)

T-Mobile phones suck!!!!!!

โ˜น๏ธ I've been a T-Mobile customer since 2004 and I've always been happy with the service, but the selections of phones now-a-days just don't compare to other services!

I want a good phone, and I keep checking back at the t-mobile website and it seems all their phones are the same! I want to get an iphone from AT&T but then I won't have any myfaves, so it's a loose-loose situation!

Why is t-mobile so slow with getting better up to date phones?!?!?! ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ Is their a way to add myfaves to an unlock phone from another service like AT&T?
