Motorola V710

I have been playing with my V710 for a couple days now, yet I can't seem to figure out how to change the external display. I have read through the manual and can't seem to find any helpful information. Is it even a possibility? Can anyone help me? Thanks

I keep reading that the RS version is not the final s/w. Is this true? So Verizon's V710s will have a more up to date s/w release when they launch their's at the stores?

Where is this info coming from?

Would anyone know if the datapilot software to back up tel #'s for the v60I will work with the v710??

New to "phonescoop" very glad I found it, I called my local "RS" in HAVERTOWN, PA and they got the phone for me in 1/2 hour from a different store, 1 year contract, and mail in rebate too. Ordered the Tras Flash 128mb and Blue tooth head set with free shipping to my home in Bryn Mawr. I even went to verizon to and had then trans Phone book from Audio Vox 8900 phone with no problem. They were supprised to see that I had the phone. They do have them but are not allowed to release them yet WHY????????? CLUELESS. I have used the phone for a short while, and found that the T720 USB driver Usb cable is the same too. works perfect with 1xrtt "VERIZON" network. Also was able to send both Video and Pictures to email address with no problems. Pict...

After following directions in manuel for pairing the V710 to Acura TL the following problem still exists....Calling out from the car is no problem........however only a Motorola cell phone call to the car will connect. Other cell phone makers who call while I am in the car does not show an incomming call. The phone shows that a call has been received but no indication on the car dash on an incomming call. Even my home phone cannot connect...only my son's motorola cell will sucessfully display an incomming phone call..........any one else have a similar problem????

Picture quality is poor. I also have a moto v600 and the pic quality on it is WAY better than the v710. My v710's pictures are "grainy" and the display has static and flickers..

Also, my video is the same.

When I send a video to my email, the file extension isn't a video file...it's some weird file extension.

Do any of you have the same problems? I will be exchanging my v710 for a new one...hopefully it works better.

if so, thats another 30 bucks invested. factor in the bluetooth headset and car charger and that equals big bucks, my friends 😢

It seemd even the motorola bluetooth accessories are difficult to link. Has someone found a trick to linking this device?

Has anyone tried / been able to sync a Palm T3 and a V710 using Bluetooth?
I am interesed in buying a 710 and my decision hinges upon it's being able to communicate with my Palm T3.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. 😕

I have tried to get the v710 to connect to the mobile phone tools via bluetooth and it just sits there saying initializing 😡 . I have tried 3 bluetooth dongles (Linksys, Belkin, Compusa) and they all did the same thing. I tried to just connect to the phone via the bluetooth modem, like the support site says, and they all get errors when trying to detect the phone. So I thought maybe Motorola forces you to buy their bluetooth stuff. Fine, so I tried the USB cable from Motorola. Same thing on detecting the USB modem 👿 . Errors Out in the same spot. there either is something wrong with my phone or the phone in general. Could anyone tell me if they have had any luck with this???? Any advice???? 😕

😕 7/31/04 I purchased the v710 after the RS employee went through hell to hold the phone for me! Instead of feeling overwhelmed with joy, I felt like I made a huge mistake. I didn't get my ne2 which I thought I would get. i felt like I shoulda waited after i bought the phone. So I took the phone back after around 20 mins of owning it and talking on it. Don't get me wrong, the phone is awesome and I can't wait to get it back! But ne2 just sounds so gooooooddddddd!!!!!!

😳 I lost my owners manual booklet for my Bluetooth headset HS 820 i can't pair it up my v710 without the pin does anybody know the code.Please don't tell me 0000 it does not work

I have been reading this forum with much interest over the past few weeks. This is the first time I have come on line with a question for anyone who may be able to answer. I am planning on purchasing the V710 (will wait until it is in the VZW stores), but does anyone know for sure if I will have any problems with the bluetooth interface with my Acura TL?
