Are you dreading the release of this phone like I am, I smell the 720/730 all over again...

In an effort to talk about something other than the release date - does anyone think that you can play MP3's over the bluetooth with the motorola car kit?

Oh, and I think somebody wanted to know if there were bluetooth headphones.

iam tired of waiting for this phone all empty promises by to may people who have no idea when or where this phone is coming out , iam withdrawling my register at motorola for my intrest in the 710 , moto/verizon need to get there stuff together !!!!!!! 🤭

Here's a good article that came out. It's 95% for PDA users, but it does touch on the Bluetooth phone.

Also - here's my latest reply from our friends at Moto. You notice how they say "please note that carrier availability is subject to testing and approval", does this set the release date back?

Also - if Moto did release the phone, but if Verizon didn't have it available, testing wasn't completed, and it wasn't approved, could I still buy it online, and activate it?

You can buy this phone now. It just cost more. I payed and got mine 3 months ago. Wasn't cheap, but I have it!! 😁 If you don't have the patience or have the money. Contact me I can relieve your suffering.

I called VZW today asking about the v710. The rep told me the phone was supposed to be available in April and, after placing me on hold, she said she cannot give me a release date.

I'm guessing the last part of the answer is because so many people are calling in about it (partly), and there are probably some testing or vendor fulfillment issues to be resolved as of yet.

FYI...

Whats the big deal about a DIGITAL CAMERA or whatever is on this phone. If you want a digital camera, just get one, dont spend $500 on this phone for a digital camera. I say, wait for ther LG VX8000 to come out. That has video camera and speakerphone if that's what youre worrying about. The V710 is the uglyiest phone ive ever seen. the buttons are inside eachother if you know what i mean. The center buttons are smaller than the outside ones. I'm just saying that the VX8000 will be much better than this.

NOTE: IM A KID SO I DONT TALK ABOUT RESOLUTION, AND TECH STUFF, I JUST TALK ABOUT THE FEATURES (SPKRPHONE, CAMERA,)

When the v710 hits, any educated guesses on if they will be available by calling customer service before they are available in stores?

On a sidenote... Waiting sucks.

So I've been patiently waiting the past several weeks for the v710 to be released, and now the antenna on my timeport (8767) has broken for the 5,624th time. The droopy antenna is really annoying, and it causes me tog et lousy reception inside of my apartment. I wonder if it's worth the $10 replacing it with all these rumors that the phone will be availiable any day now!

The offer now expires on August 1, or while supplies last. The moving target now has a new date...

I will be a new Verizon client when the V710 comes out. I am currently an AT&T client (can't live without bluetooth). I have been waiting for Verizon to get a bluetooth phone. Now that there is one coming out (eventually). I have to figure out what type of plan I want. I have read over the Verizon Wireless website, and have a relative idea of what features I want/ need. Part of my curiosity is with the length of plan. I like the idea of a discount with the two year plan (for a phone upgrade).

I am wondering, from people who have experienced the plans. Is a two year plan worth the discount?

well i called the columbus,ohio store today, and they have no info or its not even on there infomanager!!! so the dude that posted he saw the ads and stuff is a flat out liarer!!!!! and to brianatverizon you said it was on info manager, but they looked it up for me on there info manager and its not there!!!!!!!!!! so why did you say it was there ???????????? not reliable brian 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡

the wall street ad said the 710 is GPS enabled is this different than other GPS phones?

I was wondering if anyone working at CircuitCity (or other retailer) has heard anything about the transflash cards (ie, have are they on one of those planogram things). Supposedly they are getting released tomorrow (based on https://www.mobiledatadirect.co.uk )and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get them in the US.

ps. Does anyone know why the Audiovox Thera Pocket PC 2002/Phone is on the 99999 zip code? Isn't that old? And where is the LG7000?
