Motorola V710

V710 is being delayed, and the final release date is March 23rd, 2006. Until then, all of you can sit down and keep on *hitting up this poor forum with your crappy guesses and suggestions. 🙄 🤣 🤣

im buying a new phone this month and assuming the motorola is out which phone would all of you recommend. there is no way to do a poll in these forums so just respond with a choice so i can see which most people prefer and why. thanks.

You will not see this phone launch until mid august at best.

There have been a few things in friendly testing that have held it up.

Probably August 15th or so..


And by the way - It's a Moto Phone.. Battery life is horrid and the call quality is just as bad..

Guys, would you, please, be so kind to explain to me what the difference between Digital and Analog phones is. I keep seeing these two terms in different forums and have no idea what they mean. I want to make a right choice in my next phone upgrade. Please! And thank you so much in advance! 😉 😎

now that the phone is coming out does anybody know an estimated price? I kno there have been some guesses, but is there any accurate info?

I said this 5 pages back and I'll say it again, the 710 is the 720 with a camera. Everyone in VZW corporate thats testing the phone says the same damn thing, its a Motorola POS. Its a damn shame too cause the phone looked promising. And by the way, VZWSales, if the phone comes out on the 6th, I'll donate my left nut to science, cause it aint happening, but keep telling your tall tales, there plenty of suckers listening.

Read this statement in the auction carefully....

"This phone is scheduled to be released by Verizon Wireless within the next 30 days, you will be the first one to get the phone as soon as it is released. As of now the release date is mid to late July. I will be shipping the phone out to you as soon as I get it. Don't get stuck with out it, if it goes into a national back order upon release, as many verizon phones have in the past."

Hence, people are paying $600 plus to get a phone as soon as it is released. The phone won't shipped right now.....only once its realeased. I hope people realize this.

Why are people wasting space on this forum listing ebay auctions for the v710. Most of those are fake unless your buying from Ecko. A lot of them are auctions in which your paying a crazy price in which the seller will mail you the phone when its released. Personally I think you have to be sick in the head to pay 1000 for a cell phone even if you get the phone before it's released. Considering in most cases your basically donating the money to someone to get a crappy tester model.

here comes the bad news, but i just tried to go to vzw and got the message. we are presently updating our site. I hpoe for good news but expect bad news.

I thought about not contributing to this ridiculous forum since most of it is just repeated information or some retard who thinks they're funny by saying they're the daughter of the maid, who's sister knows the cousin of this dog who gets walked with the dog owned by the CEO of Motorola. Though I find that following this forum can possibly induce brain aneurysms from the sheer idiocy, I'm glad that there are still a few people here who aren't ****ing around (which is probably the result of actually having sex with a living being as opposed to chatting with 'hotties' on AIM all day). Anybody out there wanna help a new user out. I stay in a part of the world where the verizon employess are useless. Anyone have any info on the 710. When can we expect this in stores and is verizon gonna be the only wireless carrier to have this phone.

I started out with motorola phones and am quite disappointed with every single phone I had. Telling the truth, from the moto experience that I had, they are very unreliable and not worth waiting nor buying. However, I do admit that moto phones are the coolest looking. I don't even know whether or not I should give another chance to V710. According to its phone info, V710 is perfect and even better than VX7000. I don't feel like trusting moto again after so many failures. Currently, I'm using Samsung, and it works very well. Your reply would help me in choosing between VX7000 and V710. alright guys, i've been reading this forum for a while and cracking up at some of you guys. so i'm going to tell you whats happening with this phone over the next two weeks. the phone is being shipped to verizon wireless stores (and only verizon stores) on the 14th. they should arrive in stores on the 16th or 17th and they will be available starting on the 19th. i can't tell you how i know this information as if i do, it could get me fired but what i'm saying is 100% reliable. and by the way, im looking forward to the phone just as much as you guys are.

If you think every Motorola phone sucks and/or the v710 will suck, there's a really easy solution for you: BUY ANOTHER BRAND. It's called choice, and it's what drives a free market economy. Motorola's not trying to put out a bad phone, but if you think so, there are other forums you can go to to rant.

People are in this forum because they happen to LIKE Motorola phones, or at the very least are willing to give a new one a chance. People on here are generally smart enough to know their options for brand and model of phone they want to use.

I have been reading these threads for the past few weeks now and have not come across one bit of creditable information. Can anyone answer this, who has the final word on when the Motorola V710 is released to the public (ask them). Everyone seems to just put out BS but at the same time BS can be interesting. From hear on out I just check the verizon wireless to see if the has been released. Thanks a lot guys!

Anyways, what if the phones are going to be released tmrw or sometime with in the next few days... !!
Here is the catch for those who registered at motorola's site, we will receive the text msg/ email tmrw or in the next few days, and motorola using our contact info we supplied lets us know of the closest shop supplying the phones. 😳 This is why many of the shops people mentioned only had 5 phones. Think about it, every verizon shop has 5 ish phones, that's probably a little over 710. This insures the motorola statement for the first 710 that get the phone, and there fore no controversy of the registration process. 😉

I've seen the V710 in ads in People and Entertainment weekly. (Ads for Vx7000 as well). They are institutional ads from LG and Motorola.

I don't know. I picked up the VX7000 and like it so far. EVERY Moto I have had has been a horrible phone. Will this one be different?

people all we care about is the release date and how much it going to be????? i dont care who lies, all i care about is who tells the truth!!! and the truth is when you get different people saying the same dates with proof and phone #s so we can verify!!! i really dont think it will be out tomorrow, but i do think it will be befor the 27th!! but ill say my prayers tonight for tomorrow 😉
