The Lg 7000 is out on the website

go to the verizon wireless website and type in 99999 for your zip code and you can buy the lg 7000, because it's already out and people can buy it. why don't they do that for us?!

ECKO HOOKED ME UP!! (v710 in my hands)

My first time posting here.

I have to say that Ecko is the real thing. An honest, reliable businessman.

My v710 arrived today as promised in perfect condition. It is charging now. Can't wait to try it out.

I have read a lot of negative posts on this board about trust etc etc. If pictures of the phone are required I will post them. I would prefer not to be flamed because somebody thinks I am lying.

And to answer the question early, yes I paid $600 for a phone that may be available in 2 weeks. No that doesn't seem too much to me to be the first on the block, in the town, in the state to have a phone.

Have a good day all...ECKO RULES!!

I've heard...

A friend of mine who may or may not work for Verizon said the phone is huge. Like the size of a baby.

I've also heard that the phone has been pushed back until December 2012 so they can get rid of the camera and color screens. They will be replaced by holograms.

Also I've heard you'll be able to dial it with your mind. Like, you can think "dial my favorite sex chat line" and it will. Sometimes before you finish your thought even!

The earpiece will have to be permanently attached to your ear via surgery. That will come with the price of the phone which is 32,000USD. The surgery will take up to 48 hours and will leave the cell user blind in one eye, possibly two.

The phone gives off enough radiation to cook a chicken in under 30 se...

Bad News I'm Afriad

As you may or may not have heard, the launch date for video messaging has been delayed. It is now scheduled for June 25th instead of the 15th. That being said, the LG VX7000 is expected to debut with the launch of this service. The latest information is that the release of the V710 will now be July 6, 2004. There is a possibility of a Friday release, in which case the phone will debut on July 2, but the 6th is the more likely date. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. On the bright side, this is the most firm release date I have been given for this phone.

ECKO, QUESTION...

Hey ecko04,
are you sure the speakerphone function can't be used while the phone is closed like one the V60s', I'm just curious and making sure because someone over on HoFo said it's possible. I would really appreciate it if you double checked.

Thanks for your time!

v710 picture samples?

Has anyone with a v710 in-hand put together a decent indoor/outdoor photo album? I'd love to see the images it produces with all kinds of light conditions, closeups, distant shots, both indoors and outdoors.

Last I read, nobody could transfer the images from the phone to a PC. If/when I do get a 710, I'd be doing the transfer via a cable connection (not bluetooth), so it would also be nice to know that a cable connection can work.

Thanks in advance.

Defeats the purpose of Bluetooth

So Verizon is disbling the ability to synchronize phonebooks and transfer images/videos/mp3's using bluetooth? If this is the case, then the only uses for BT are surfing the web with a PDA and using a BT headset.

One of the main reasons I want bluetooth is so that I can add someone's phone number to my phone, and then it will sync with my pda (and vice versa) so I don't have to keep two separate phonebook databases. I would also like to be able to sync phonebooks with my wife's phone.

Most phones have software upgrades/revisions after they're released. How can we petition, or who can we contact, to get Verizon to enable these features?

july 6th?

I obviously want this phone along with all of you. In fact I can't wait much longer! The only thing is though...

It's not in Infomanager yet...if this phone were to be released on july 6th, it would be in infomanager by now....right?

I really hope I am wrong and maybe they are gonna just surprise everyone...that would be great. Oh well, i guess it will come out when it comes out.

I have a theory. The 7000 is now slated for july 1, just checked infomanager

maybe maybe maybe, the reason for this is what we've been hoping for all along : a dual/triple launch. You just never know? Would b very cool. Opinions???

Transflash available 7/13?

Does anyone know the history of this supplier? I know they're in Europe, so few people in the US have ordered from them, but I wonder how accurate they are when they post "avaibale on" dates:

photo gallery

http://www.wickedcrazy.com/gallery »

i just installed the coppermine photo gallery to my server.

i gave every registered user 20mb/unlimited bandwidth.

1. after you create an account(account will be activated after you click submit so the email can be fake if you want),
2. after that..log in...
3. in order to upload you need to create an album... (there will be 3 rectangular buttons towards the top of the screen to the bottom right of the coppermine logo image... click create album, then hit "new" and type the name of the gallery you want, then hit apply changes)
4. once that is done upload as many pictures as you want to the album.

you can view photos by clicking on "user galleries" and browsing through there.

have fun

ECKO04, I HAVE WEBSPACE & BANDWITH!

Hey Ecko04,
Unfortunatly I wasn't able to see the pics you posted or the one before these at your other site.

I have tons of webspace and bandwith and can post up your pictures as soon as possible, if you send them to me.

If you don't want to send em', I hope you have your site up soon because alot of us probably didn't get to see these and previous pictures.

Opinions wanted: the v710 and Verizon service plans

I have a couple of plan questions for all you experienced Verizon users that I would appreciate some opinions on.

I had a Samsung i600, which used a non-WAP internet explorer so I had the $49.99 per month unlimited internet plan for it. I also used it to dial-in via Express Network using laptop/PDA.

Now, can someone describe what changes if any I should make to the plan, since I probably do not want the internet plan anymore. I hear you can request a minutes only used plan for Express Network connection to a laptop, but I also want to maintain some sort of internet connectivity with the phone, but I do not know what it is called or what options are available.

Also, the specs for the phone indicate it can handle email (POP3) and I ...
