Motorola V710

My brother got a 256mb card today, works pretty well, has anyone else purchased the card yet??!??

I have one of thoughs soft side pouches.
Everytime i pull out thephone I switch it to camera.

can i disable/change the outside button functions ??

I'm curious does anyone know the release date for the Moto HS850 in retail store? IE Verizon wierless stores, or the Radio Shack.

I got one already from ebay, but thinking of just waiting for retail instead of bidding again. 😡 I can't believe I freaking dropped it into muddy water. I'm worried i just fried the thing.

hi, i was wondering if anyone would help me/suggest a answer for me problem. today the silver ring around the camera of my phone broke off. i didnt drop it, it just broke when i put it in my pocket. im going to the verizon store later today, but i was wondering if they'll give me a new phone? i still have the silver ring, but was wondering if i should say it "got lost"? thanks for any suggestions.

i'm about to buy mpt.been wanting it for a while but haven't gotten it yet so i haven't paid much attention to the posts about it.so does the blue tooth work well with the mpt?do i need to get the cable or the bluetooth connector for my computer? also is there a way to get free mpt on the internet or do i need to fork over the extra 10-15 dollars for the disk?thanks for your help. 😁 😁 😁

Assistance needed. I have a verizon wireless v710, a trans flash card and reader. I managed to transfer an mp3 file(Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze) from my pc to the trans flash card. Now how do I play it on my phone.

Volume on the V710 is low at best especially through the bluetooth hansfree headsets.

This increases that volume on some/most V710's

Enter the "Opcode Menu" by pressing: MENU 048263 * (you'll have to enter it very very quickly).

Enter 54* and press OK. This will suspend the phone and dim the backlight.

Press the external camera button to turn the backlight back on. You will see "SUCCESS".

Press BACK.

Enter 5*0*15 and press OK. This will max out the system volume of the handset. You can use any number from 0-15 as the third digit, but even at level 15, the phone could be louder.
You should see SUCCESS. Press BACK.

Press CANCEL to exit the Opcode Menu

Ive been checking and checking the rewievs and forums of the Vzn phones, trying to make up my mind, I really need a new phone and in despite of the bad reviews I I like the V710 for many reasons I have just one question, It would b very nice is somebody could help m in that way Ill get this one instead of the new Vcast Audiovox.
How good is the mp3 player in this phone, I just need the Trans flash card?, is STEREO?, could I plug an FM Transmitter and use it in my car??

I flashed with SuperDave's file and now I cannot sync to MPT. What gives?

After hearing about some of the new features, I would like to get mine flashed...but I dont want to lose my ability to put mp3s on my phone from the transflash.

some of you mentioned earlier, it is not a problem to fix or debug and takes 20 seconds...can someone explain to me how to do this if I were to get the official verizon flash?

According to a Motorola spokesman the E815 (the sister phone of the V710) will also have crippled bluetooth but as an added bonus Moto is throwing in a handicap parking pass...

I have mobile phone tools 3.0 and I've gotten it to recognize the correct phone, but it still just says initializing... Also the Multimedia Studio is not in my side bar where it's supposed to be. If anyone has any answers to these problems, please let me know. I am anxiously waiting to start using MPT on my phone.

Does anyone know if either software flash (Verizon's or the one floating around on this site) affects the V710 interaction with Uconnect? I have a Chrysler 300 with factory installed UConnect, and I have never been able to see battery level, or signal level. I see that those features are grayed out on screen. Also there appears to be some sort of address book feature icon on my Nav display when I am using phone.It is aso grayed out.

I just *228 verizon for my 710 and had a successful spl unlock... what is a spl unlock? it said committed after I assumed it downloaded the update... please let me know, thanks, yk

If I do the flash update that is spoken about in this forum, will I be able to use the bluetooth in my phone and the bluetooth in my Dell Axiom to get online? Also, where is that tutorial for the Flash update posted? Cant seem to find it. Please reply or email me. 😳

how do you take your v710 faceplates off? I tried a little bit but i didnt want to break anything. is there an easy way to do it that im not seeing, or is it a pain the the a$$ for everyone else too? 😁

also, ive been looking on ebay and stuff for possibly getting a colored or black faceplate. has anyone bought one of these faceplates and tried it out? how is it, cheesy? or good? thx
