Motorola V710

Does anyone know where/what website I can find some good Trip-Hop ringtones? I heard this girls phone going off this morning in class, we were taking a test I couldnt ask her where she got it from. I have always searched but the only categories are rock, hip hop, alternative, and other crap. How about trip-hop? I'd love to have a Bjork or Massive Attack ringtone on my phone....

Hi, I use to get ringtones off of walmart.com and send it to vzwpix.com but its been a lil while and i see that they changed the site and ever since they changed the site everytime i try to put the song onto vzwpix.com it wont let me it says that a video file cant be done or something and theres so much u can do on the site now since they updated it i guess can someone please explain to me how u get the song onto vzwpix.com and send it to ur phone? thank you soo much 🙂

For those of us that have not flashed our phone, there now seems to be a way to at least get pictures off the phone by USB cable.
I use (I do NOT work for them) a product called DataPilot by Susteen.
Their last update now allows me to read the pictures off of the phone and save them on the computer. It still does not allow for writing to the phone nor does it read the transflash card. At least it is a start. I have sent Susteen a note asking about the ability to switch devices and read the transflash and do they think they will be able to write to it, and will post the reply when I get it in a couple of days.
I post this because I did a search and did not find this ability mentioned with any of the other software such as MPT unless the ph...

My V710 got damaged falling off my waist when the Verizon belt clip broke. They take no responsibility and I have no insurance. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement without a new contract? I could take a phone without a battery, back, manuals, charger since I have these. Funny thing is the phone makes and receives calls and would be eligible for insurance against further loss or damage but is ineligible for this unless it is newly activated and I don't need another account. Buy.com sells the phone for free after rebates with a new contract and it almost makes sense for me to get a new phone contract and pay a $175 early termination fee on my existing contract. New phones on ebay sell for about $325. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if Verizon can change faceplates for me? And another question does anyone know what tools I need to use if I have to do it myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm trying to download picts from my phone to my powerbook g4 using bluetooth. I get them to recognize eachother in the connection, but when trying to browse the phone contents, my Mac tells me that the device (the phone) "does not have the necessary services." What services am I supposed to have?

I am using mpt 3.19 and I see the phone, and it communicates phone numbers but I can not send or recieve ringers or backgrounds... What am I doing wrong... Someone stated a multimedia button or something like that. I am using SD firmware.. Please help..

You can download files individually or as a single TAR archive. Win32 lusers should be able to open that with WinRAR...i think ;-)

PS. yes we can, winrar will open that, but you don't need all those, you only need three files.

When I access my TF on my PC, I see a Moto file with about 9 sub files. I've tried the obvious and still can't get the files to show up on the phone(V710). I've looked under media gallery and have switched storage devices to TF. I'm just moving standard mp3 files at 128bit. Do I need some special program or what? Do the files need some diff ext or format? The phone is listed as a mp3 player!

Someone please help. I cannot figure out how in the world to transfer photos from my computer to my phone w/ the transflash. Each time I try it says the photo is TOO BIG. I have tried to resize the photo, but i'm striking out left and right. I was able to do it one time, but since then I'm batting "0".
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

How do I get MP3 files compatible with the phone? Can I make them with an MP3 encoder? I downloaded some tracks from Napster, but the phone does not recognize them.

I just got the V710 from VZ. I like the phone but am having a difficult time with the Name Dial. I'd like to be able to customize a name for the voice prompt. For example, "John Smith" I'd like to be able to say "Stink."

Is that possible?
