1.3 changes?
I got the new version of the phone last friday and I noticed that Every ring tone/sound there is is extremely high pitched, and it takes forever to receive tezt messages unless you turn it off and back on again (same with voicemail). Its just the ringtones/sound stuff because when listening to mp3s on it it sounds normal. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Voice recognition is extremely responsive
i just got this phone so basically im testing out all the features. now, this voice recognition is painfully accurate for something that doesn't even have to train your voice (besides the voice number dialing). I mean, just to test it, I was in my bedroom with the tv on low and I was saying commands. Then, I moved the handset about 2 feet away from me and it still worked great. THEN, I even whispered my commands, while it was 2 feet away from me and it STILL worked!
I mean, voice dialing isn't that big of a deal to me, but i remember my old phone...i had to manually program my voice for every contact and it would always make me repeat the name. Voice recognition has come a long way.

How can I connect headphones to my mpx220?
it's not meant to be an mp3 player, but it could easily be used as one with a mini sd card. now, i see the only audio output on the phone is a 2.5mm jack for a headset....but, is there any way i could get some type of 2.5mm to 1/8" adapter? and if there is one, would sound come out of both speakers? or is there some type of headphone dongle that would connect to the bottom of the phone?
thanks,
george

Installing the homeskins
Alright for example:
Im trying to install the Jaguar one. When I downloaded it from the website and unzipped or unrared it whatever.. I got a setup file and like 10 other little files with it.
I copied those and put them into my storage>application data>Home.... like it says on the website to do. But when i go into my phone in the file manager and click on the setup file it goes to a blank screen...
Is there something else that I'm missing?

Not able to accept incoming calls (sometimes, I will get a white screen)
đŗ Starting just yesterday, when an incoming call occurred, when I pushed the accept button, my phone would not answer the call. Also, I would only see white on the internal screen ( I may see a little of the incoming contacts info but not all). Also, my reception bars were low. I called Cingular and they told me to turn my phone off everyday to "reboot"(they said that I need to do this do to info overload)the phone. When I did this last night, my phone seemed to be working just fine. Still, today at work, my phone started to do the same thing when a call came in. Does this happen if I have low reception bars or is it something else??? âšī¸

Installing the Screen Saver Package??!!
I really want the screen savers to work, but I have installed successfully and they still don't work. I can find the file for aquarium and open it in file manager and see the cool screen saver, but they will not work.
I installed that stupid candy and candy sp or someting ruther, but it won't work.
One person on the forum on that site suggested storing onto the sd card (which I have done) and then stated to set something different re: screen saver under the power management settings. Problem is, I don't have any option for that.
Does the 2003 smartphone OS not have appropriate files set up to run screen savers????
How do I remove 'Get Express Mail' from my internal start page?
This is so annoying and I'm just becoming MPX220 savvy. But I know there are others out there much more 'savvier' than I!

Can microsoft money be loaded onto the mpx220
I want to get a mpx220 and get rid of my pocket pc but am worried about functionality issues. I use microsoft money for pocket pc 2003. would this software be compatible with the smartphone, or will it only work with the full pocket pc os???? do you mpx220 users find it easy to type into your units? And do you find the screen size enough to function decently with outlook; email; task; calander?
An early Thanks for the responses!!!
Problems with Voice Mail access & International Dialing
I am having 2 issues with my phone. I am unable to access my Voice Mail neither by keeping the "1" key presed nor by clicking on the Voice Mail menu that appears whenever a new message is left. The only way I can access it is by dialling my own cell number. Can anybody please help?
The other issue is that I am unable to dial any international number. I have the international package as part of my features but when I got to Start-->Settings-->Phone-->Call Barring, default selection shows "Block international calls". When I try to change this to "off" it is asking me to provide a password. How do I get this password-cingular help desk says there is no password?

SD card / Ringtones
I could have sworn I saw this covered, but went looking and having no luck.
Is there a way to make it use the mp3s/wavs on an SD card as a ringtone? I go into sounds but don't believe there's a way to make it point to the card. It only shows what's on the phone.
Any help would be appreciated or if you can toss me the thread link that it was discussed in.
Thanks!

Agile Messenger
We've talked a lot about Agile Messenger, it's a great program and I love it. Question I'm having that I can't seem to find ANYWHERE in these forums, Agile's website, search engines.. etc.. is how to SWITCH BACK to Agile Messenger after you've minimized and went to another program?
PLEASE someone give me some feedback on this.
If you try to go back to your program list and execute the agile messenger, it opens a NEW instance. The manual advises that you can go to resource manager and "easily switch between tasks".. B.S. I go there, the only option it gives me is to kill the application. Currently Agile is running in the background and I can't get back to it. I keep getting notifications that I'm getting messages but I'm unsure h...
