Sony Ericsson S710a

Does this phone come with stereo headphones so you can listen to the mp3 player? Does anybody know where i can get some? I bought a s710a on ebay and the guy said it only came with a earbud which im guessing is a handsfree?

I know you stated that Sony Ericsson was going to release the S710a with Duo Pro support so I emailed them myself to get more info on it as to when and this is what I got...

Whenever you open the phone to type in some text or whatever, when you go to close it you will inevitably forget which way you opened it and try to close it the wrong way? 🙂 hehe

It is not possible to specify a username or password for the outgoing server (SMTP server)
You can only specify outgoing server address and outgoing server port. So in short, the S710a does not support SMTP authentication.

After 2 weeks I traded it in for a Treo 650, actually cheaper with the rebate and much more functional. Treo pictures are not as good, and the form is not as sexy, but it actually works as advertized.

Plus the palm OS means if I do find a shortcoming, I can actually buy some software with the functionality I need. Nobody writes software for the Sony Ericsson OS, so if you dont like it as ...

Hey I gotta quick couple questions...

1)I just got this phone today and I love it. But one thing bothering me is that the internet connection icon (the earth looking icon at the top) will pop up randomly when I dont even connect to the internet. When I hit the back button it asks me to if I want to close all open connections so I choose yes and a few minutes later it will pop up again. Is my phone doing at OTA update or something? Has anyone else had this problem/occuance?

2) What case are you guys using for your phone? I want to get a nice pouch case for it but there are so many to choose from. So which one are you guys using? A link would be helpful but not needed.

This phone is great, i have not had any problem with the phone. The only thing that i noticed was when it's locked, the screen seems to flicker, that's it. I have never had a problem with my bt, when i first tried, it didn't work.... but when i went to the settings and selected "show id", it's worked fine ever since!! I hope the bugs get fixed on your phones friends!! Good luck

what's a good site to get games to download on your computer than transfer to your phone.

I won one of these from the whole Train & Gain contest and love it. However, I'm having some text messaging problems and apparently employees are the last people to get tech support on devices.

All of my other phones (nokia's and 1 motorola) work great with text messaging on Cingular. The s710 with the exact same sim card is having some major difficulties and I'm wondering if I'm the only one or if anybody has some suggestions.

It says message sent, but most people never actually get the message. And I only get roughly 1/5 of the messages sent to me. My service center # is +19703769301. It was working for the first few days, but lately just junk.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got a 128 MB memory stick duo.. Transfered all my files over from my 32mb stick.. Was having some problems and choose to format the 128 MB stick... After formating the 128mb stick and transfering
files from the 32mb stick again, I wasn't able to view the pictures on the phone... I copied all 4 folders over
MSSONY
DCIM
MP3
MSSEMC

Y am I not able to view the pictures if I copied those 4 exact folders from the 32mb to the 128 mb when inserted into the phone

Any suggestions
