Sony Ericsson S710a

after downloading pictures from a PC to the memory card i see them fine on the phone. but if i come back a few hours later the photos are gone. my photos taken w/ the phone's camera never have a problem.

any idea what going on ?

OK guys I need your help. My phone's internet settings are all screwed up and Ive called customer service 4 times this week but nothing seems to work. Whats happening is that my AOL IM doesnt seem to want to stay connected. Sometimes it will for a little while then it will disconnect and wont reconnect. Since yesterday I havent been able to receive text or MMS messages. I can send them but cant receive them. But the weird thing is that ill receive them all at once toward the end of the day and cant receive them for the rest of the night. When I try to browse the internet it says "access denied. check link or network settings" or something like that. Its driving me crazy because I have the MEdiaWorks package and I want to use it but cant. Ive...

I found plenty of info on transferring games from the PC to the phone, but what about the opposite way? I have a new S710a coming, it's an exchange b/c I can't receive text mails on this one. I paid $5 for BlackJack, great game by the way, and I'd like to keep it. If I can't transfer it, does anyone know if Cingular will let me redownload it for free?

I edited one of my themes and when i resent it to my phone it doesnt display the background of any theme except the cingular ones now....the title bars and menu bars are still the ones i made, but thats all i get with a black background...any clues?

Sony now makes a 512MB memory stick pro duo (compatible with both pro and duo its actully a small memorystick pro that fits into a memory stick duo converter) No longer are memory stick duo devices limited to 128MB. I won't have the S710a until late april so i don't now f it works in the phone but it does work in my cyber shot camera. Here is a link:

I can finally walk without having to feel pain, well, not too much of it at least, its bearable now. This therapy is really working, I'd like it alot more if my therapist wast so weird lol.

does anyone know how to make the s710a create thumbnails for pictures? I have pictures in the phone and some has a thumbnail and some just have the SE photo icon.

Okay, so I was all hyped up about this phone and all like the rest of you were, now I'm not going to curse the S710a and call it a piece of **** nor am I going to be spiteful against Sony Ericsson, and perhaps maybe just MY phone has these issues, but maybe not. Either way, I'm beginning to be not so impressed with this phone.

-The RF, in my opinion, under par. My T637 out does it by far, hands down.

-It sometimes takes several attempts to send out a text message, even with full signal. Never a problem in my T637, unless there was no or low signal.

-Sometimes the phone will begin to ring, and then the ringtone will cut out. The same with the sounds of the keys if turned on, same with the first Alert type for messages, doesnt com...

this question has been asked a few times but i haven't seen the answer.

using dvdRipper and PV author I can play a movie on my 710a. but the video displayed is so small, only 1/3 the size of the phone's display. anyone know how to get it larger...

For joef3 and cingular dream....you guys posted a couple of links for packetvideo and the site for the crack code, but I can't find anywhere where I can download the packetvideo.....do I have to pay for that?

I've read that the phone will only read cards no bigger that 128MB. Has any one tried a bigger card? Nokia says that their 6230 only works with up to 256MB MMC, but an after market 512MB works fine. Could the s710a be the same situation?

I finally got my laptop to connect to the internet through my S710a!!! I'm so excited. I tested the speed through Speakeasy.

Download speed: 47kbps

Upload speed: 23kbps

And a 5.9 KB/s transfer rate.

Can anyone else give me their umbers if they have them?? Thanks! 😁
