Sony Ericsson S710a

Not to sound rude or whatever, but why in the world is everybody comparing the s710a to the Razor V3, people all that phone has is a vga camera and long ranged bluetooth thats it. Of course the s710a is better in allllll the features it has. The V3 is just a over priced flip phone ,it only cost so much because of the alloy its made out of, and its smudges like hell. i admit that phone is sexy but i would rather spend that much money on somethin that has alot rather then somethin that has nothin but jus looks good. and besides i love th design of the s710a better anyways, even though i still love flip phones 😁

Is there any type of airplane mode for this phone where I can still listen to music, etc without the radio on? I just can't seem to find it as an option anywhere.

Is there a password I need or something.

Can set it to a theme or the clipart animation themes but can't set to a picture I have taken. Used to...

is anyone but me having problems with adding replys or new threads on this site???

everytime i try to go and add a reply to someones msg it says its been added and then when i go back to the msg bored it hasnt been added. iv done the same msg twice now and its still not there. and i was lucky enough to get onto the msg page anyway. most of the time i read someones msg. it says to reply to this msg log in. so i do. then it informs me that im logged on as bassplayerdanny(my usrename) but doesnt let me do anything from that point.

its becoming really anoying!

I have the unlimited media package (got it last month b/f rates went up), and i want to try my s710 as a modem. i have the BT dongle. My question(s) is do i really need a data plan($80) as cingular says, or can i use my existing plan? If so, what settings do i use? How do i set this up? Thanks for any info!

i plan to get the SE S700i at the end of next mounth.(can't wait 😁). i know this forum is for the SE S710a but as no1 but me has posted anything on the S700i forum since december and my question reffers to both phones anyway i thought id ask on here.

I'm just wondering... I plan to use my S700i (when i get it) as an MP3 player. both the S710a and the S700i suport memory stick DUO but not DUO PRO which comes in larger sizes of memory.

I wundered if anyone knows wether any larger than 128MB sizes of memory stick DUO cards plan to be made in the future or do the owners of these 2 awsome looking phones have to live with the maximum of 128MB DUO cards???

Hey BeRad, I can't seem to get that Mobile Phone Monitor to work, and now that I've got my bluetooth connection working, I don't need it anymore.....but I can't uninstall it, there's a read me file, that says to enter a command, but doesn't work....any hints or suggestions? B/c I can't find it in the add/remove programs or anything.

I have had my s710a (cingular branded) for 31 days now. Really sweet phone but I'd really like the Treo 650 now due to the fact I need a PDA phone for work. My s710 is in great condition (its only 29 days out of the box), never dropped a couple (two) minor, minor scratches which are hardly noticeable from putting it in and out of my flight suit. Otherwise mint condition (screen is impecable). If someone out there is unsatisfied with their Treo because they'd like something smaller feel free to drop me an e-mail. [email protected].

make sure to use your username/password as provided by your ISP.

Came across this web site and thought I'd share. Download the files to your computer and transfer via infrared, bluetooth, or data cable (not mem card) to the phone, It will put them right into the games dir and away you go.

Click on Dump Games (the fourth tab) and then on S700 These games all work on our phones. The password to unzip the files is chipeduk.


Also has games for the K700 and T600 series phones.
