Sony Ericsson S710a

There will be not update to the memory limit and the UI/OS is fast. I confirmed it with SE.

sorry had to do it, has anyone heard any news of the phones shipping out? I am going out of town this coming Sunday and would love to have my phone for the trip.

i'm able to sync my outlook calender and notes, but for some reason it says i'm out of memory for notes.

i have about 15 outlook notes on my PC but only 6 or 7 of them make it onto my phone. my phone status says i have plenty of free memory.

my nextel contract just ended and i am deciding between this phone and the mm-5600.

i have a few questions:

1. is "memory stick duo" the same thing as SD memory? and what is the largest size card it will take? 512mb seems to be the biggest on made in memory stick duo

2. when cingular finally gets their streaming multimedia up and running...is this phone ready for it?

3. whats up with the headphone jack? are you limited to only using the headphones it comes with?


s710a vs. mm-5600 which do you think is a better phone?

They said that they don't have any idea of when the next shipment comes in and that it was totally up to SE as to when they will ship out the next product. Looks like those of us who have been waiting will have to at least wait until the end of March to get our phones.

for some reason i cannot enter a pause while entering my voice-mail number. the manual says to press and hold the star key (*). when i do this nothing appears on the screen (i would expect a 'p').

to enter a '+' you press and hold the zero (0) key, and that works for me.

any help would be appreciated....

who don't like the bean pouch. This is the pouch that Cingular is offering for the s710. I've been waiting to see it, and finally found this picture. I like it better than the ICE-30 because you phone sits vertically. HERE'S THE LINK:

My S710 case, now only if I had my train and gain phone to put in it!!!

Was looking at the S710a on Amazon and they have the phone at $419 with $150 off with mail in rebate. Does the 150 requre a 2 year contract or can I get this phone with a 1 year?

I already have the phone, but the BF is in love with the phone. I like the guy, but not enough to spend $500 on him though. LOL j/k Point being...he has an aversion to staying with one carrier for 2 years.

Please provide us some insight as to your rating of the phone compared to say the Nokia 6620, 6320, 7610, and others...

Hey all. I was wondering if anyone had any word on upcoming phone releases on Cingular within the next 3 months, and any anticipated price changes on phones currently available. I'm especially interested in phones with bluetooth that are:

1) Mac OS X compatible so it can be synchronized via iSync to sync calendar, address book, and to do list

2) compatible with Salling Clicker

After all the waiting for the s710a, I decided to wait due to $50 price change; also found that it would be costlier to get it through Amazon since I'm already with Cingular. Any constructive feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

p.s. I'm looking for the cheapest option; if possible, looking to get Sony Ericsson T637 when it becomes free again, ...

Quit calling and Emailing us!!! opps that's only the impression that I get from them... It looks like the 23rd is it... looks like they are gonna send out all 2700 s710a's on that date... I was told they haven't recieved any new phones to send out today or yesterday...

For mp4 file, what's the highest resolution supported, frame rate, bitrate, audio codec supported with mp4, bitrate, khz.

Same with 3gp.

What's the best combination for optimal quality?

Is there a forum that gets technical like this?

I can not recieve my aol email with settings from keyword "mobile" at AOL. The phone says "looking for server", "found server" then "NO NEW MAIL"???? I am sooo frustrated! Is it that Imap cannot recieve other AOL email? Please help and the more specific you can be the better because I am a newby at this!

They also said that they don't have any idea of when the next shipment comes in and that it was totally up to SE as to when they will ship out the next product.
