Do you think there should be a time factor to give a review on products and phones here?

Seriously I think it's not right for someone to buy a product and in one day run on this site and say how great it is..
Believe me , we know lot of people do it here.

If you find a great product before you say how great it is, makes sense to have it for a period of time.

I think the web master of this site should make it Mindoro ..

What is your take on it ?

Does anyone else come across this issue when trying to search for a specific BAND or SONG on V Cast Music.

Say you are looking for "THE POLICE." If you are lucky, you will be able to find them (and all of their music) under "POLICE." But, let's say that no listing come up. To search any BAND name starting with "THE", it doesn't allow you to type in "THE (space) P..." Meaning, you have to search ALLLLLLLLL thru the "THE" listings (100's of them) to FINALLY get to the letter you're looking for... in this case, "THE POLICE". Basically, if a band or song name is 2 words, it WILL NOT allow one word... space... and the first letter of the 2nd word.

Any one else have this "SERVER ERROR/CONNECTION ERROR" message come up EVERY TIME tryi...

The sadest part of upgrading a phone os that you lose the programs that are on your old phone. It would be nice if Verizon could give you credit for the repurchase of the programs if they are available for your new phone.

Has anyone bought a replacement battery for their 8100 yet? If so, does anyone recommend a good place to get one? I don't want to get ripped off $40 by vzw.com to get one...

Can you put games on your phone with the data cable or the memory card?

I sign on to AOL IM with my phone but I only get like 20 of my contacts out of like 150 truly on my buddly list. Does anyone know how to get the IM to show all your buddies?

Ok so i got my .07 update on my 8100. If anyone could tell me how to transfer the music onto my phone so it's viewable under the manage music selection. I don't have a data cable, just a card readers and i'm not really wanting to buy a cable so if you could let me know how to do this could you give me a "how to" ? 😁

Half of the songs that i convert to WMAs and then put on the phone are not showing up in the player. And about 20% of those say they cannot be played when i select them. None of the songs are copyrighted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have yet to find a BT headset that I found acceptable.... And I read your post on here that you were loving this thing, and CNET reviews say the same.... But I wanna make sure you're STILL lovin it, before I go out and buy it. I loved my Jabra 250V when I firs got it, but two days worth of static made me change my mind. is this the best there is?????

Is there any way to make the font size larger for the phone book and texes?

Hey all... I am completely clueless on all this stuff, with the exception of Bluetooth really. I know I can hook my phone up to another bluetooth device such as a BT Headset.

I wanted to know if there is anyway, now, that I can hook my phone up to my computer at home (no internet connection at the moment) and use my computer to go online through my phone? Is there any way to do it via DUN or Bluetooth? Would I have to buy a seperate adapter to put Bluetooth on my computer or could I download some driver or something and have that ability?

I just got the VX-8100 and would like to add Sony Music Box to it under GET IT NOW and the application doesn't come up. Any clue why? It does have the latest version on the phone. Any help would be appreciated.

A friend Pix msg'd a couple of really cool photos that I would like to save to my phone. When I first got them I saved them to the phone and could go into My Pix to view them with no problem. All of a sudden, about a week later I could no longer view them. When I select them, to view full size, I get some weird icon with a ? in the middle. I can see the pictures small-frame, like when you are looking at four pictures on your screen, but when I try to see it full size it blows up. I have tried deleting and re-saving, but nothing works. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Can anyone tell me if the usb cable for the 6100 will work for the 8100? I know that the chargers are interchangeable. Didn't want to try it without finding out first. Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, guys. Is it advisable or not advisable to set to 1x to save battery? I don't use EVDO or even download. Somebody said you get better reception without changing it. Thoughts? Thanx. 😎

I received a replacement 8100 and activated the MP3 player and I noticed that on the front LCD, it says "concert hall" when I am playing mp3's. Do all the 8100's say that or did I activate a certain profile or something? I don't remember my old 8100 saying that. Just a curiosity question. Thanks!

Has this ever been done? Is it possible to transfer games to your phone with the MINI SD or the data cable. That would be amazing. There is no way I can spend 3 dollars a game on the phone.

Hx, got the Motoe815 diastolic it ok but it was too big for my hand. Exchanged it for the LG8100. It is an upgrade from the LG6000 which I really liked but wanted to have blue tooth.
I love everything about the 8100. I hear the other person just fine and the blue tooth works well too. The problem I have is when I start to speak I hear myself talking..it is beyond startling! I have been in the house, outside, in the car and the same thing happens. It is terrible. I tried to turn the volume down and it didn't seem to make any difference. Is this a problem found widely with this phone or is it maybe this particular handset. A few years ago when I had the horrible LG510 I had this problem..with two of those phones.

Anyone using the Jabra JX10 with 8100?

I've just got one today....it is my first bluetooth headset. Sounds pretty good....some statics though. I like the feel and the design of this piece.

One thing, the person that I've called says "I hear everything....all of the background sound and my ear hurts....". I thought this JX10 had a DSP to control/reduce the background noise.

My new 8100 is ver.6. Just recived the new 8100 this week too. Will upgrading to ver.7 do any better? Or is it the way this JX10 suppose to work?

I will see it for a few days...hopefully I can find this thing usable since I like the design and the feel....

has anyone been having a problem with text messages not bieng delivered? i've been having a big problem lately with sending them, then i go into the message and check the info and it says "delivery incomplete" but if someone else sends the same message to the phone i was trying to send to, it works for them. could this be a problem with the phone bieng set to 1x only?
