when i send long text messages, people don't receive it. Any one know why?

I just got this phone and I want to turn the Vibrate on like I did with my LG4400. All I can find is hold done on the * key but I want to do it with opening the phone is there a way?

Anybody have any news regarding a successor to the vx8100 besides the 9800?

need help choosing the right phone between these two badboys.. and how good are the ' stereo ' speakers ?? ON THis phone??

I have no problems putting music or video files on a miniSD to use in my phone. I have been using CDex to rip CD's onto my computer and transfer the mp3 files to my miniSD via a card reader.

I also recently purchased an Ipod, and have Itunes software on my computer. I also have no problems there, getting CD's into my computer through Itunes, and putting them on the Ipod.

My question is about what I can't figure out. What I can't seem to manage, is getting files back and forth between the two. I have created two separate and distinct music libraries on my computer. One is the mp3 files from CDex, and the other is the ACC files created by Itunes.

How can I avoid this duplication? I would like to be able to copy a CD onto my compu...

i was wondering if someone could tell me how to upload the mp3's from my computer to my phone. i saw that you have to change the format of the mp3 but i dont know to what or what to do after that...so if someone could let me know that would be great. also i havent bought the phone yet but my contract is up on the 18th so i was wondering if there are any kind of accessories ill need to do any transfering. and my last question is that if i wanted to crop out a certain section of an mp3 and use it as a realtone, are there any programs out there that will help me make my own ringtones by letting me choose what part of the song i want for my phone? if so could you please list them with a website i could find them at. thank you soo much for ...

So i went ahead and downloaded the 3g converter to convert my mpeg videos to 3g, i downloaded it from ImToo.com and got the version that only lets you convert the first 2 minutes. So i went ahead and did that, i also made sure i grabbed the right files(they become different files in a temp folder after converting them) and i put them into the my_flix folder and put my sim card back into my phone and once again they did not show up. So what i'm asking is, is there a better free converter out there? or am i doing something wrong? The amount of KBs in the videos are showing in my memory usage, but my_flix is showing "no contents available"...

I am wondering how to use the blue tooth DUN. I used it when I first got the phone with the #777, but now it won't work. It gets to verifying name and password and then disconnects me. If #777 doesnt work, does anyone know of any other dial up number that will?

i paired the comp and phone and its in my phone as a paired device but how do i use the bitpim. because when i try and serch fer the phone it says it cant find it.

When I press the side button to voice dial, the voice that comes from the phone is so soft that I cannot discern what it is saying unless I put the phone virtually on top of my ear. Even then, I'm not quite sure. Then, when I respond to the voice, the phone doesn't understand what I am saying and keeps asking me to repeat. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution to it?

I recored a vioce memo of something I need to remind my self of to do, when I was done it went to folder called my sounds. I'm trying to find that sound clip, but I can not find the fould any were. If I make a new vioce memo the folder opens up again, but there has to be a way to find it without making a new voice memo each time. Can anyone help?

I just got the 8100 yesterday. I read about people having to go and get an update from verizon. How do I know if mine is up to date?
PS verizon store was very un-helpful when I got the phone I tried asking question but was basically ignored, the store was so busy.

i got both bitpim and the bluetooth conector.
everything is installed. i tried to find the phone using bitpim but it didnt find anythig then i tried to pair the phone to the pc and it found the bluetooth device but its asking for an authentication number where do i get that from where can i find it or change it.

i'm tryna to order my mini sd card.

i was wondering if someone can let me know if this is the right one and also does it come with a reader or just the adaptor.
