LG V VX-9800

I wanted to set some video as wallpaper they were a slideshow of pics 22 megs big but i get the "Select content is over size for set as! Please select another one." error msg and was wondering what is the max size u can have video wallpaper? Also is there a max size ur regular can be to run on the phone? I converted FFVII:AC into a 4xxmeg sized 3g2 format and it runs fine on my pc but doesnt show time lenght or start on the phone. What do u guys know of these sizes problems in having?

Ok i am going to get the LG VX-9800 in a week or so and befor i do i need help answering questons.

1) Can i download CD's that i already have onto my computer and get a 512mb card and transfer the CD's songs onto this phone.

2) What is bitpim?

3) What are some things i can do with Vcast? can i download Songs and Videos? and if i can how much do they cost? Also can i go on Ebay and Sport Sites?

Page 18 of the manual states there is a setting under Settings & Tools to set the KeyGuard Timer. I sure can't find it. Does somebody know how to set this?? Thanks!

i am trying to use a bluetooth headset with my motorola, but the vx9800 can't seem to find the device... am i doing something wrong.. or is there something with my phone???? i have the motorola hs820... and this headset worked fine with my cingular nokia phone... but when i try to hook it up to my vx9800 it says no device found..... any help will be appreciated....

and also.... does anybody know if a 1gb kingston memory card will work with the vx9800... or should i just stick with the 1gb sandisk.. since a lot of people here looks like they are not having any problems with the memory card with the vx9800???

Which phone has the better reception? I'm a Verizon carrier...

i do apologize if this question has been asked over and over again... just be patient with me please.... the verizon store said that the 9800 data cable is not out yet... but they do have the 8100 cable..... which data cable works with the 9800... does the 8100 cable work.. and does everybody in the forum here use the 8100 cable for their 9800??? i tried searching and searching... but couldn't find the answers... once again... i do apologize for asking this question.. i'm sure it has been asked many times. and thanks for any help you guys can give me...

hello guys, i hope im not annoying anyone by asking a question that's already been asked but i couldn't find the thread containing my answer. everytime i load a new ringtone via usb through bitpim my rigntone tags shift. meaning i have to reassign all my individual ringtones all over again because loading the new ringtones shifts the order. can anyone help? i'd really appreciate it. thanks in advance everyone

Yes im back to annoy you with more dumb questions...now tell me...I bought a staero 3/34 to 1/8 head phone adapter so i could listen to the MP3's on a normal head phone set...now when I put it in sounds only comes out of one speaker...did I get screwed at radio shack or with the phone becuase its a stereo phone..hense the stereo speakers inside it...could someone help me.

Is the phone safe to set down on the camera side without scratching the camera?

Anyone know how to set the phone to ring ONLY in your ear when you have the headset on? My old Kyocera had a specific menu option for that. With my old 8100 I had to just put the phone on vibrate and plug the headset in and the phone would only ring in my ear. I like that feature and used it often. Thanks.

I've wanted this phone since I first heard about it in September. I finally got it for Christmas and i have some issues. Does anyone else think the RINGER volume is extremely low? How about the MP3 Volume? I had the 8000 and the phone was so loud at work when it wud ring i would hear it from across the room - at max volume with this phone i can barley hear it on my belt clip! I converted a few AVI movies to 3g2 files and i noticed that they are VERY LOUD! why are the video's loud but the ringers aren't? it seems like the only ringtone i can use is the standard beeps in order to hear my phone. I'm thinking about taking this to verizon and having them look at it, but before i do just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

Others have suggested Bitpim with selecting the 8100, this has not worked so far!

Ok so i was playing once again with the 9800 in the Verizon store today. I am planning on getting that phone in July when my contract is over and im eligable for the new every 2 thing. I want the phone mainly for the QWERTY keypad (why else)? I text message a lot so it'll be convienent for me. For that text to speech feature though, is there any way to make that voice any louder when it's reading yout texts back to you?

Right now I have the VX6000, it's an okay phone for the most part but it only holds 20 pictures. My plan is up in a few weeks and my heart is set on the v. But I was wondering how many pictures it holds. And is there a seperate section for contact pictures (that are perphaps smaller)?
