BBB pwns Sprint: Cingular's Network claim endorsed

http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/...-sprint-nextel/ »

PWNED!

Maybe Verizon really does know all of this and thats why Verizon has yet to jump into the litigation battle and remained mostly on the sidelines. Sprint succeeded in two things.

1. Looking foolish
2. Having another source backup Cingular, thereby helping support Cingulars claim.

I still think Verizon will jump in before this is all said and done. But I'm happy that Sprint was handed an incredible setback towards their advertising efforts. Cingular will without a shadow of a doubt use this as well as the Telephia drive results to laugh Sprint out of the courtroom.

Most powerful network in chicago

I have had Sprint for almost a year now and really like their service. I get very few dropped calls and have had no problems with their customer service either. I saw some advertising that said Sprint had the most powerful network in Chicago, since I live in chicago, I was wondering what exactly does this mean?.

Thank you to anyone who can help.

Dealing With The Wireless Industry. Pt. I

🙂 This is something new I wanted to start doing that will help me make more sense of this wireless industry. Feel free to give any "good, worthwhile" comments to this post.

Topic of today is the US and why it doesn't get the same great phones that get released in Europe.

I know this has been discussed several times (well mostly just argued) but it makes me wonder with all the freedoms and perks we Americans have in this country why cant we get some of these phones without having to order from a third party dealer or from the internet.(Shout Out to Ebay 😉 ) It makes no sense that the World's Most Powerful Country is behind the times on one of the fastest growing consumer products that almost every one uses.

Please guys help m...

Advice

For over a year we had great service with Sprint and now it has gone downhill! The first time they said the tower wasn't working correctly then they said it was.I had to call back once again and talk to a tech in our local area and he said the other tech said the tower looked as if it was functioning correctly. All 4 of our phones are doing the same thing(dropped calls, garbelled calls, calls not completing, full signal down to no signal)Customer service also messed up our plan and now they say its fixed after working with them on it for days and talking to many people. We have really had it..Which carrier should we consider?

Is nextel ultimately going to be ported over to all CDMA with sprint?

my mom has nextel and always has problems with reception no matter what phone is used.

im guessing this is because of the merge?

is it better for her to just port over to sprint and get a sprint phone?

thanks.

LG FUSIC HELP!!

Can't find the answer to this anywhere, so maybe you guys can help out.

I thought I read soemwhere that the FUSIC can sync contacts and calendar w/ Outlook... is this true? I'd rather do it via USB and not bluetooth, but not sure if it possible or not.

analog roam.

Ok this sucks. My wife's LG 225 is Tri mode. We get crap for sprint service in my house. If I set her phone to roam only, it connects to 800 AMPS sprint, still crap (same physical tower). HOWEVER, my a940 is dual mode. If I set it to roam only, it connects to verizon 1900, perfect signal! Any suggestions/thoughts?

Ecare, Regular Customer Service, or @ the Store??

I'd like to start a little poll here:

Do you find that you have better luck @ requesting something for your account through Ecare, through regular customer service, or from your local store? Just sent my first request to Ecare, and am awaiting my response. Where do you guys get the best results?

question on data/download

Hey all--just got a new samsung A920...So far, so good, I can't believe how good the sound quality is on it...just amazing!

Well, I may have gotten a bit rusty, but can anyone help me? The rep at the store said it's fairly easy, but I'm having a hard time...The phone came with a 32mb transflash card and sd adaptor with usb cable (no software). I want to be able to compress some of my music files into a short enough clip they will not only fit, but be able to be used as ringtones, and upload them through this usb cable etc...

I can't figure this out 😕

Was wondering how well the service is in San Francisco

So what about this Embarq dealie?

Are they really planning on having an Embarq MVNO for Sprint Local/LD customers? This is almost as pointless as spinning the company off to begin with.

EVDO coverage question.

Is the broadband coverage area on sprint's website the same as power vision coverage? I'm asking because on the broadband coverage area map i see future coverage in some areas and wanted to know if this is where power vision will be rolled out in the future, and if so; how long will it take for it to be rolled out?
