ok ive been with verizon like a year now..a few months ago i called the 1800 to see when i could upgrade and i was told feb 15 and i went into the store yesterday and made sure he guy called verizon and told me i could upgrade today..so i went to the corporate store and well guess what they told me i couldnt upgrade til august when i went to the 80 bucks a month plan..and i was like one of your workers in the store and a guy at the mall and 2 other verizon agent at the call center told me it was today! 👿 so like after tellin me in a v.i.p or whatever and after 4 people tell me it would be feb 15 all the sudden i half to wait til august?!

Of all the phones that I see on the recent Verizon line-up, I think I like this one the best. Is it still available as a current model, or has it been discontinued? If it is out of production, does anyone know whether an upgrade of this phone will be available by the second quarter? I want the CDMA/GSM capability without the Smartphone stuff...just a phone, for the most part.

Wow....my wife and I are in need of Blackberries and we are not up for an upgrade...I called up and VZW worked with us....how nice is that???? Thanks VZW...Superb customer service!

I just got a Verizon phone and wanted to activate it on the Alltel network.

However, when I go online to change the ESN/MEID number over, it says this:

Unfortunately, there's an error with your request. The ESN/MEID is associated with another wireless carrier, a wireless Internet card, an analog phone, or a non-e911 compliant phone. For assistance, please call Customer Service.

I called to get the ESN changed over, and the lady asked me to do *228 to activate, which I knew wouldn't work from a Verizon phone...

((I already programed the phone with my number ssid and everything.))

Any advice as to what I can do? Anyone I can talk to to get the phone changed over?

Anyone know where you can buy the same fixtures Verizon uses in their retail locations? I have attached a link for reference. I am mainly looking for the cabinets that have the live displays on top.

Looking for opinions.... I LOVE, with a capital L my LG VX8700, but a couple weeks ago the main screen stopped working correctly, sometimes it's on, sometimes it's very hard to see. With the amount of texting I do, it's a necessary part of the phone, nevermind being able to see who you are calling :-)

Right now I'm using a moto somethingorother that I HATE for various reasons, I've used LG's for so long now I'm so used to them and I really just LOVE the 8700. I went to Verizon yesterday and was told I could replace it for $50 w/another 8700, and that my NE2 is coming up in February (I already knew that) so I have the discount coming if I want to wait.

I've looked at the Chocolate 3 and it seems OK, and I know there is another LG that ...

So, you guys hear about this recession thing? We've now been relayed two distinct stories of layoffs inside Verizon's sales ranks within the last 24 hours, though it's not clear whether the recent Alltel acquisition has anything to do with 'em. First off, we're told that virtually all -- 90 percent or more -- of Circuit City-based reps have lost their jobs. Though the move might seem make sense in light of Circuit City's failure, it's important to note that these folks were not Circuit City employees -- indeed, they were employed directly by Big Red...

if someone was eligible for their NE2 on April 16, and they wanted the Voyager, and they went in soon...like this weekend...would a corp store be able to help them upgrade early? or are they SOL til april 16th?

IS it possible to use the LG Dare on another CDMA network? Or is the phone provisioned only for verizon?
