Network Extender

I have been researching the Network Extender and notice that all the data online refers to the service as providing you with uninterrupted outgoing calls. My question is first has anyone tried it and second does anyone know if it provides better reception for incoming calls?

Lime Q on Verizon

I know it's a stupid request, but I really really want the lime phone from Alltel for my Verizon phone line. I understand the phone industry fairly well (I worked for At&t for four years as a warranty exchange rep) and I'm certain it probably isn't possible; however, a girl can wish right?

I know they are merging (I noticed Alltel is now included in the m2m)...does this mean I should hold out for some of their phones too? Does anyone know if that aspect of the merger will happen soon?

I might have to just give up hope and go with the black phone. ☚ī¸

VPAK change

I read in infoman that the one month free trial of vcast will no longer be offered. I know for store reps it will be a loss in commission but in CS we won't have as many people calling in about a data charge on their bill and not be told about the one month free trial.

Another thing I read about the VPAK is that starting in late 1Q they will require some full HTML browser phone will be required to have the VPAK as well. Frustrating for some customers I think.

Contract cancellation policy?

I read in a forum that every month that you complete in a 2 year contract the cancellation fee decreases by 5 dollars a month. I was wondering if this is true. Or did someone just make this up.

HI guys! Love this site! My question>>Verizon or Sprint?

I've been with Verizon forever and I'm no longer under contract but I'm thinking of making the switch to Sprint. I love the BB 8330 that I saw and used at a Sprint store. I couldn't believe how fast the internet svc was. Is Spints internet service faster than Verizons?
I know I'll have to pay a little more up front for the phone if I switch to Sprint but I liked the looks of their 8330 compared to the Verizon version. What do ya think? Make the switch or not? TIA

Any word on Treo Pro on Verizon?

Evidently Sprint is yet again getting another WM Palm Treo, the Pro, while Verizon hasn't even gotten the 800w Sprint got months ago.

Does anyone know for sure if Verizon is getting the Treo Pro since now we know there is a CDMA version that Sprint is getting?

If so, time frame? Days? Weeks? Months? Never?

Thanks!

Customer's perspective

As much as Verizon Wireless appears to focus on making it easy to do business with us it does seem like we are being sneaky about these MB charges.

Usually buried in all the long disclosures is a neat little provision that customers are responsible for these charges. The disclosures themselves don't even explain the exact actions which can cause these charges and they are buried deep in the disclosures that the company knows nobody reads since they are written in legalese and are hard to read.

Wouldn't it be great if we by default blocked access to mobile web and the GIN catalog and have a simple disclosure each time they are opened that the customer has to agree to which states: "By using this feature you are subject to $1.99 pe...

The New Calling Plan

My old plan was up so I signed up for
another 2 year plan. What Verizon has done
is criminal.
For example... I had weather.com which
I paid $2.50 per month. My minutes were
used for logging on to get the weather.
Verizon has done away with minute used and
is charging by the amount of information
downloaded.
This is a joke...... also, the new plan
specifics were not explained to me. I would
have just kept paying month to month.
P.S. the new phone LG 8360 is a great
phone!!!!!!!!
