New phones--How about a new color for the LG Chocolate?
Anyone know of any new phones coming out VERY soon for Verizon? Also, any new colors for the newer LG Chocolate? Was considering a blackberry but don't want my bill to go up with the data charge plan. Any thoughts on a good phone? I have the Voyager which I like, but am looking for some thing different.

Testman and Chad become friends
Some have speculated about possible commercials that could be made showing Testman and Chad becoming friends (I was one of them).
Yesterday, I noticed a new link on my computer at work. The link starts a video, and oh wow how funny it is.
It alternates between Testman and Chad getting ready for the day. After getting "dressed" in their respective garb, they start walking down a hallway where they meet half-way. They look at each other, and shake hands.
I'm not sure what the audio says, as our computers on the floor have poor sound.
The link is an internal link, so I can't export it to the web. I'm trying to find it now.

Omnia Help!!!
Does anybody know if Verizon plans to offer the Samsung Ominia in a regular phone to compliment the smart phone version. Just like ATT did with the incite and their regular phone version of it is the Eternity. I hope so because I like the Omnia a lot but dont need nor want smart phone capabilities.

secondary line upgrade policy
So...I am the secondary line on the account...and for obvious reasons, I am concerned about the upgrade policies for secondary lines. I have heard that they only get $100 off the full retail price of the phone instead of the NE2 price. I never had to worry about that before because I had my own account and was obviously the primary...please help!!

Pearl Upgrade?
So...RIM has been doing a lot lately...Bold, Storm, new Curve (8900, i think), and the flip pearl...well, i have the 8130 and love it, but I was wondering if they would be coming out with an upgraded version of the regular bar style pearl...maybe add WiFi or something like that...i mean, i love the phone, and refuse to switch to any other manufacturer (and I dislike touch screens, which is why the storm is out) and I've gotten so used to the SureType that I'm not even sure I can go back to full QWERTY...anyway...any info would be awesome! TIA!! 😎

New phones coming out in January?
I just got an Omnia, and I'm not sure I want to keep it. Does anyone know of any smart phones coming out in January? In my googling, I've seen some mentions of the HTC Touch Diamond being released in January, but I couldn't find any recent updates.

The DARE. question about the memory card
I JUST got mine today and I am liking it, HOWEVER. I had an old razor and had a memory card that I put into the dare. I cant for some reason access the pictures. Anyone have any ideas. thanks in advance for your help.

Do you HAVE to use a passcode for voicemail?
My wife just switched back to Verizon a few days ago and I will be also in about a month. When my wife set up her voicemail it asked her to pick a 4-digit passcode. Now she has to key that code in just to check her voicemail. I don't remember having to do that when I was a VZW customer before. Is it new? With AT&T, if you press and hold down the number 1 key, it dials your voicemail (just like Verizon) but you don't have to enter anything else. You can just listen to your messages. We kinda like that. Can it be changed on VZW so that it's not required? Thanks.

US Cellular to buy divested Alltel properties in these states...
Don't ask me how I know this as I can't share and if you don't believe then oh well, I'm sharing anyway. I have been told from reliable sources that US Cellular has/will buy Alltel in the following places: Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, Idaho...and that's all I have confirmation of, but I'd venture to guess it would include Kansas and Nebraska as well. Only time will tell, you heard it here first!

I'm an alltel customer in an area that is to be assimilated into verizon. However I also take calls in a side company that works with cellular one, and after watching AT&T's idiotic treatment of their acquired customers, I must admit I'm worried the same thing will happen to those of us still stuck under an alltel contract 👀
Now I would be more than happy to jump ship and go with verizon equipment and contract if they let me keep my number and waive the etf of getting out of my alltel contract early ~hint hint nudge nudge~ 😎

Motorola
I know I'm in the minority, but I love Motorola phones.
I am anxious to see the new offerings for 2009 and hope that Verizon has not crippled them with the horrendous Verizon UI. I love the network and the customer service and hate that they f up a perfectly good device with a really poor UI. Motorola has a much better chance at re-claiming their market share if they can produce a phone that is allowed to operate as it was intended.

was just wondering. my new every two comes at the first of next month.
for the first time i am at a loss as to what to get. my other phone is damaged and barley useable...so i really need to make a choice.
so what phone would you go for now. or, are there any cell phones on the horizon you would wait for?
{i'm using my sister's while she's in Europe so i COULD wait til end of march.
any thoughts you guys have....thanks!

Which new phones will be available for the first quarter of 2009?
My NE2 agreement is up on January 19 and Im looking to replace my current phone. Does anyone have any insight as to which new phones will be available the first quarter of 2009? I only have heard of a few new Motos coming soon, but any others? Thanks for the information.
