I am due for a new phone at the beginning of Feb and want a smartphone. Which one is the best option? I'm hesitant about a touch screen, although I'm open to it if it works well. I was really hoping the Storm would be great, but it sounds like a bust. So which is it? Omnia? Saga? Blackberry Curve? (And is it silly to commit to an older model like that for 2 yrs?)

Or do I wait until new phones come out?

On a macro scale, I've often wondered if we as VZW reps are witnessing the decline of the U.S. right here on our phone lines as we take calls from customers. With such an entitlement culture as we have in this country which has led to our quickening downward spiral VZW customers seem to be reflective of this sad time in our history.

To continue with my rant -- how many times have we heard some jerk customer say "well I've been a customer for x years and I'm ENTITLED to a an early upgrade to the Storm" (despite the fact that I just upgraded 6 months ago). Or even better... "since I pay my bill on time every month and have been with you for 2 years I DEMAND an early upgrade and I don't want to pay what all your OTHER customers have to p...

Obviously ATT has their unlocked phones, but does verizon have an equivalent? I don't want to be forced to use the evil empire's phones that is stripped of all of its good properties if I do not have to..

OK, so i am eligible to upgrade my phone on Jan 28th. I have had my LG VX9400 for almost about a year and a half. I have loved it, its great for a basic phone. My battery is starting to die during the day, which it never did, so i cant wait too long to get a new phone.

I was planning on getting a Blackberry Curve on Jan. 28th. But, does anyone know of any new smartphones or blackberries that might be coming out around that time? Or a little after?

Obviously I cant wait too long...but i wouldnt want to buy a Curve, then all of a sudden, the Curve 2 comes out or the Bold is released on VZW or something like that. Anyone have any semi-solid info on this?

i recently got the new boulder. i love it, however when i go into "my pictures" i cannot view any of the pictures i have taken. i am on software version 10. they sent me out a new phone, same problem...has anyone else ran into this? and if so do you know how to fix it

Just like the subject says. I've posted in the past that I've had nothing but problems with my Voyager.....Battery issues, internet issues and the list goes on and on. I feel as though I was lied to when I bought this piece of crap phone and am seriously thinking of leaving verizon because they will not do anything to help me.

Every time I go into a store and tell them whats wrong with phone for instance this phone has a full HTML browser however I cannot go to retrieve my email on gmail....The phone resets itself....The battery is constantly dies and for an "Entertainment" phone that is unacceptable.

All the reps tell me is that there isnt anything wrong and I want to leave and grab the BB Bold.

Where can you buy new VZW phones before your new every two at a cheaper price? I don't wanna go through ebay, cause they are still pretty expensive. Any ideas?

Jan 9th!! Unemployment here I come. 👀

My contract is up in the next couple weeks and I want to upgrade to a smart phone, but I'm not really sure about the selection of phones that Verizon is offering right now. Are there any new smart phones coming out soon?

A relative of mine wants to buy one and the web site said:

"While supplies last" which leads me to believe there is something coming out to replace it perhaps?

Do you think that current price of the LG Dare($120ish) will increase or decrease after the new year. Historically does Verizon lower the prices of a phone like this over the Christmas season and then increase it again after the busy season or continue to decline the price to move new merchandise in after the new year. I am not sure. Any help would be awesome. thanks

I currently have the EnV and I like it but I work for Sprint and play with the Blackberry Curve on a daily basis and adore the phone. Now I am not planning on leaving Verizon to go to Sprint (especially since they are closing our center after Feb), but, I would like to have a plan that will still give me my texts, IM, and possibly the navigation. I am currently on a shared 1400 min plan with the unlimited text deal. My other 2 phones still want the text, but no data. I know I have to have a data plan on the Blackberry, but what would be the cheapest way to go and still get what I want?

I need a phone with excellent reception and battery life, good camera...I don't care about all the other bells and whistles, but it's kind of cool for entertainment. 🤣

I played around with this phone a little in the VZW store and couldn't find an option/setting for the voicemail/SMS reminders that every other VZW Moto phone seem to have.

It seems to be a VZW UI favorite to have repeating reminders for voicemail/messages/missed calls. So I'm wondering does the Krave have this feature or not?
