Can anyone tell me how the Storms web browser compares to the I-Phone? i currently have the BB Curve and am thinking of upgrading to the storm for the better browser. any help is appreciated

I'm trying to decide to upgrade to the storm from my curve 8330 which I love to death.. Does anyone know if a new curve will be released anytime soon?? I notice other carriers are updating theres.. 😁

I cannot find any info on what is going to happen to Alltel's GSM footprint that they inherited from Western Wireless in 2005. Will Verizon keep it, or is some of the GSM footprint going to be divested as a part of the FCC's requirements to divest 100 markets?

so every time a customer loses their phone and requests the last call phone number, i say i can't disclose that over the phone. they always ask why bec "it's my phone!" i only have 1 answer for them: it's a law, and we legally cannot disclose them.

what else can i say? anyone know the actual reason?

I lost my storm at a party and i called asurion and they are sending me a new one. I was wondering whoever found it can they activate it on their account and use it. does verizon or asurion trace phones also. can someone with knowledge in this area please answer back

When my LG VX8300 finally died last week, it entered a stage where it would technically turn on, but the inside screen is white and empty, it doesn't ring, buttons don't make sound, etc.

(I did experiment and notice I could make a call out, but while the other person could hear me, I couldn't hear them.)

i have a phone that i accidently cracked the screen on. i have equip protection through assurion, but i have to wait till next check to get up enough $$ for the insurance deductible. my g/f gave me an old verizon phone she had laying around that still works...what i want to do is do an esn swap to the phone she gave me as a temp phone. can i still get a replacement for my phone, or will my equip protection on my plan only apply to the phone activated on the acct? i doubt they will replace the phone she gave me, its ancient, and is uninsurable anyways since its a couple years old. i guess a viable solution would be i could swap back to my broken phone when i have the money for the deductible, i mean it still works, sending/recieving call...

I have a VZW Blackberry Curve. I had upgraded it to 4.5.0.77 a few weeks back. Then I got the Storm. After deciding the Storm wasn't for me, I reactivated my Curve. I switched my device through the BB Internet service back to this PIN and ESN. Everything works fine but now I'm not getting html email messages. All emails are coming through, but just not html. Under message options, and email settings, I have both of my email address coming to the phone setup to enable html. Any other suggestions as to what I might try? I have also deleted and readded the email addresses...(Hotmail and Yahoo)...and also resent the service books. I didn't neccessarily think that would do anything, but tried nonetheless.

I currently have Sprint and was thinking of switching over to Verizon but was wondering one thing.

I do a lot of chatting on AIM and MSN messenger. Does Verizon count this type of messaging as being part of the data plan (internet) or text plan?

I believe some carriers use to count such messaging as texts, so I'm just wondering.

I have a question on how insurance works. I know you cannot get insurance on a phone that you buy off of ebay or somewhere else. But if I were to buy a phone directly from Motorolla brand new, is it possible to insure the phone??? Verizon no longer sells the V9 however moto's website still sells it. I would like to get one for my wife, however at $400 bucks i want to have insurance on it

MY phone lg-5400 worked fine till this morning,
on one side of the house even though I have full signal bars, can't call or receive calls.
This happened 1st in year since I own the phone. Called tech support and they say it is normal. Anybody aware what is the problem.
