Is the bold coming out for Verizon anytime soon? I want to get the Storm, but after all of the recent posts about the software problems and the device not being what they thought it was going to be, i don't know if i want to get it know. I have a year left on my verizon contract and want to upgrade, but not sure to what. Thanks for the help.

Since the Storm uses a VZW SIM card and can use US GSM radio, can you possibly put in a T-Mobile or at&t SIM card in the Storm along with Sim-able and get it up and running?

Since Sim-able doesn't really "hack" the phone, it just does the hard work the easy way...

Any ideas?

if the storm is GSM capable, whats stopping me from popping my at&t SIM card into it and using on thier network

We just had a customer come in who ordered a warrenty exchange, and he was informed that the earliest he could get the phone would be in January. Did he get ahold of the wrong people, or are they really that backlogged on Chocolate3's?

Here's the deal:
I activated my Storm on Thursday. Submitted an ACSR to have my pin placed on the BES (have a Curve already). Someone on our Ops team had my Enterprise Activation Password reset instead. I followed those instructs and got my corporate email for a few hours. Now since yesterday morning, I've got nothing. I went into Options>Advanced Options>Enterprise Act and my corp email addy isnt there anymore. All I'm getting are my BIS accounts. It's a Concession line sp I can't really call anyone internal for help. Anybody have some thoughts?

Does anyone else who has received a Storm noticed when you are txting the lag on the phone? When I txt I am consistently 2-3 words behind due to lag. I have some typos but because of the lag I do not notice until again I am 2-3 words ahead then I need to go back to fix. Is this just my device that is having this issue or is everyone having this issue? input would be much appreciated as to I want to keep this device or not.

Well Verizon forum, our time on here together was short, but wonderful. I still love Verizon, but I decided that after my PN 820 crapped out on me and after I could not find a phone I liked, that I had to port back to AT&T. I will miss you and I still think you have a fantastic network, but AT&T has a better line of phones at the moment, and I need something durable that won't break the bank, and they have it.

And to the reps on here who warned me about the PN 820, you were right. Listen to your reps, kids, they know what they are talking about! My lesson is learned... I hope! 😉

Got a storm today and by my first impressions not to impressed.
The phone is very laggy and the touch screen isn't very great they should have waited till the phone was fool proof to release it. Iplan on returning it for the omnia or saga .I hope atleast they live up to the hype.
I'm so sick of these bs iphone killas Verizon just needs to get the Iphone already . The iphone has been out forever and nothing touch screen has even come close. It just sux that it is an atnt phone.

For those of you that have the $45 data plan attached to your PDA/Smartphone/Bberry,....

when you look online at your billing, what does it say for your data plan description under data usage. Mine shows "Unlimited" but I thought Verizon placed a 5gig cap a short while back? I have had my plan for a few years now, so maybe Im grandfathered in. Just curious.

Here is what mine shows for my Data Usage Allowance:

So if its truly unlimited for me, does that mean I can go above 5gigs?

How'd the Storm debut go? Were there lines out there? How were customers? I'm glad I work in CS that I didn't have to deal with them face to face. I know some customers had to be furious about not getting one

everyone forgets how it was when the iphone first came out. only direct stores sold it and issues with the activation. Overall this seems to have gone a lot smoother. So everyone quit your bitchin.

I read on Hofo that the Dare is supposed to be having a software update very soon and it will fix some of the bugs and it said it would fix the reception....is that possible with a software update and does anyone have any knowledge of this update????? I want to get a Dare but I am leery with all the reviews of bad reception. Thank you.

How do you program a password at the end of a phone entry into contacts, i.e. add a delay between the number and password?
