I wonder if Best Buy got bagged for listing the Storm on their website early!?!?! They lose 2 days of sales to direct stores.

I read on another website about new pricing packages similar to those that Sprint offers are going into effect on 11/16/08. Can anyone who works for VZW elaborate? Do these pricing packages only work on non pda / smart phones?

I am a new customer. I have the lg dare. I was just wondering if the LG DARE is as good as any other phone for pulling in signal, I live in a garden apartment, and just left us cellular.

I noticed in general that Us Cellular got a better signal on MOTOROLA and BLACKBERRY but NOT LG. Is this the case with Verizon As Well. Because I'm really not that impressed with the signal quality of the dare, it will be sitting in one spot and go from EV 1x. TO 1x only to 4 bars EV and 1 bar 1x. back to just 1x.

Would the voyager be better?

so we had a blackberry training today, and the rep from rim had a storm, she passed it around and let us play for a few mins. i have to say im impressed and not. the phone is HEAVY! like 2 dares. the screen looks amazing, and the phone, imo, is a lot sexier then the iphone.

the screen is crisp and bright. the screen does click, like the keyboard or trackball of the curve. hers was pre-production (which is funny to me cause she told us some vz reps in texas had newer ones, and she works for rim lol). i pulled up the keyboard in a text message and it is actually cool to type on. it feels like a flat keyboard since you can click it. i think it will def be worth the wait, and she said 'sometime in november' so the best buy thing from boygeniu...

i just got a palm centro and i have the unlimited data, however it says ive used 466 KB in three days and i havent gone on the internet yet. how is this possible??

i found out that the storm will have the full keyboard, suretype, and multitap which is like t9 word!!!!!


it was my dream for this phone to have something like t9 because that is the fastest way to type a short message out!!!!!!

I currently have the EnV with a 59.99 plan and a USB Modem with the 5GB plan. I am spending about $140.00 a month. I want to get the Storm, but I still have another 16 months on my USB Modem. Is there anything I can do to get rid of my Modem without an ETF and then upgrade my Env to a Storm. I want to try to spend about 100 a month instead of 140. Please help?

I updated my Curve today and now when I go to turn it on "Stand-by" (the mute button) it will not do anything. What do I need to do?

Does anyone know if Verizon is gonna have any Black Friday deals this year and, if so, what those deals will be?

I saw that Circuit City is gonna have the enV2 for $50 w/a new contract on Black Friday, which didn't seem that great to me, since Wirefly has it right now for free.

ok...I had a BB curve with data...swapped it for a glyde...I was told by the sales rep it was fixed (was gonna go storm but figured it was smaller and i never use web etc)

I am beyond frustrated...i can't use Mp3 ringers....is just one of them.....who do i talk to and how do i go about putting data back on and getting a storm when it is released friday....i just cant take anymore phones stress!

Basically.. to keep the story short..

My girlfriends phone is starting to mess up, and she is going to need a new one soon. However, the line won't be eligible for an upgrade for almost a year since it's the secondary line on the fam share plan.

Even the basic phones bought outright from Verizon are expensive, so I was thinking about getting a phone off eBay. I see new Moto W755's going for around 150+ which seems like a pretty good deal considering they're $240 at VZW without a contract.

My first though was to just add insurance on the phones, and when it finally does break.. get another to replace it. But she doesn't like the phone much anyways, and is wanting one with a memory card slot(and maybe a megapixel camera too).

I have read a plethora of reviews on the DARE and I am reading that a lot of people are on their 3rd or 4th unit....so my question is are these phones having a lot of problems? R u seeing them come back? Or is it a phone worth purchasing? Thank you.
