Does Verizon give a **** anymore?

I been a customer for almost 11 years and was going to take advantage of my NE2 to get the Dare.
It turns out I can't without changing my plan which I was told to never do by previous VZ people. I really don't see why they can't issue a credit for the difference to me and put me a plan that will let me get that phone. They say they can't do that but they have done it for me in the past and given me 100 bonus min a month too. With that I would be willing to give it up and pay more for the Vcast. Of course they did offer the 500 min bonus for agreeing to one year. I am obviously out of contract and I know VZ has the best service but I don't like being told something isn't possible if it really is. Anyone have any luck in getting this recentl...

Verizon Add-on Fees

I went to a Verizon Store to upgrade one of my phones (secondary line) for the first time in about 2 years.

I was hit with various fees that I didn't have to pay the last time I did this:

1) They charged me a $20 upgrade fee, on top of the price of the phone; for what reason and since when, I have no idea;

2) A $10 fee to transfer my contacts from old phone to new phone, and

3) I was told I had 30 days to return the phone if I didn't like it but that would be another $20 for a restocking fee.

Are all Verizon Stores doing this ? When did all these fees go into effect ? Verizon just keeps nickel and dimeing you, as Customer Service goes Down & Down! Unbelievable.

DARE TO COMPARE!!!

Avjoe is no average joe. Not after drinking his ATT er. I mean.. att koolaid. It gets so old him on here day after day bashing VZW. Why do the mods allow this? Any other respectable forum wouldn't allow this activity to clutter up their forums...

Have any of you guys seen this...

Looks like verizon has released an internal document containing some defensive tactics to use when confronted with iphhone fanatics who come into verizon stores.

I actually think its a good idea and the info looks pretty good.

Heres the link

V9m no longer available online?

The V9m came off the Verizon website today, at least in my area. Does anybody know if that is temporary, or if there is another high end Motorola ready to replace it?

Chocolate 3 - I want ur 2 cents

I looked at the phone reviews etc, and I've seen the phone at the Verizon store, but without long term use I don't know if I should dish out the $ to get it. (not eligible for upgrade) The reviews had some good info but some of the things people put in was petty stuff. I don't care about finger prints, camera with no flash and all that...how does it function? is it full of bugs or not? is it built fairly sturdy? how fast is the processor? reception strength? did anybody buy it and get that "I wish I knew about that problem" thought? and how does it compair to the LG 8350? I usually rely on the reviews but I think the 8350 is hard to beat and I don't wanna waste money. Thanks in advance 🙂

vzw.com employees

i recently changed from customer service to e-services and support for vzw.com. i get this question from paranoid customers "i don't see the lock icon on the bottom right on the first page of your website and i don't feel safe signing in." well i do also see the same thing and it doesn't show up until after you sign in OR if you click on my verizon/my personal account/sign in, the lock will show there. apparently, no one here knows what i should tell these customers. anyone have any idea what that is, or what the lock symbol actually has to do with this. i don't like to give out half-answers. thanks!

New Phone? I just cant part!

I currently own the LG EnV2. I have had it about two years and I am eligible to upgrade. I cannot seem to find a phone that tops it so I need your advice. I do not use the net or VCast. I mainly use text and talk. I like the newest enV but not sure its worth the money for something identical in functionality. I like the new Dare, but its expensive and not sure I like touch screen texting. I had also heard some new "cool" phones were on the horizon for verizon. What phones should I look into? I need something new and stylish, with talk and text. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Need serious phone advice

A couple people here ragged on me for being picky about choosing a phone to replace this shoddy Boulder (my time is running low on returning it; it'll leave here Monday), but I have to repose the question because these same people know more about what's coming via Verizon than I do.

I prefer (not mandatory) a flip phone that's well-built and will last, with a camera, lots of memory for contacts, quick UI, exceptional sound. I won't use it for music, at least not often.

Everything has pointed toward the Adventure, but I'm not sure I like its construction (it seemed kind of flimsy in the store). My old LG 8300 served me well, and I still harken back to the discontinued Audiovox 9900 as a phone that was idea for me -- solid, well-built an...

Probably coming back to VZW....have a music question.

I've been with Cingular/AT&T now for about 18 months. Without going into all the typical bashing of the other network, let's just say that it was a mistake and I'm pretty sure I'll be back with Verizon in February. Anyhow, my question is about music on a Verizon phone. I haven't decided which VZW phone I want yet, but I'm leaning toward the ENV2. Do I have to purchase music through Verizon, or is there a way to transfer MP3s from my PC to the phone?
-Thanks.

Does Verizon Have Any Master Agents?

I currently own a Sprint store, under a master agent. Like everyone else in the world, Sprint owes me too much money for unpaid activations, I just dont want to sell their product any more.

I am really interested in selling Verizon Wireless, but I dont want to go through corporate. They are way too restrictive as to what products you can have in the store.

I've been looking for a Master Agent, but cannot find one that has the ability to sell in the North East. Please help if posible.

Motorola VU30 -- any info. on this phone?

I keep reading about a forthcoming release of the VU30, and it looks like a solid flip phone -- at least the construction from the photos I've seen. Does anyone know what kind of features this phone will have?

I'm considering the Adventure (though I don't use PTT and that side button seems like it could get annoying), but perhaps I'd wait and see how this one gets reviewed...

blackberry thunder price

Does anyone know how much the new thunder is rumored to be going for once it comes out, the contract and no contract price?

Also big question, the touchscreen technology, will the thunders use the iphone capacitative type or the lg dare's resistive type.
Any info would be useful.

A2DP capable phones.

It's been a while since I've been in the industry so I don't really know what's out there anymore.

What phones does Verizon offer that support A2DP (stereo) bluetooth profile?

I have the Juke now and I am really starting to hate this phone.

Verizon Question

I currently have AT&T, and love them, but I got a really good job opportunity, and I can't turn it down, in the process I have to move to another area in the state, where AT&T coverage isn't that great, Theres alot of areas there where I didn't get service when I went up there to take a look at apartments, I had no service in any of the apartments I checked, so I'm most definitely have to switch Carriers, Well I've had about every carrier you can name, U.S. Cellular(will NEVER go back to them), Sprint, Virgin Mobile, Verizon.

Well see I had Verizon a few years ago, but from what I've heard they've gotten better, when I had Verizon they were expensive, my bill was always 300 dollars or more. Well I'm moving into an area that gets amazing...
