Anyone use this phone yet? I have a friend who really wants a new trimode phone with bluetooth... yep, even though some of the analog towers are going to be shut off next February.

Given her reqs (trimode and BT), seems like it's between the 5400 and the Moto 325i (if she can find one) or the new 325xi that's coming out. Are there any other contenders? And for those who've got to play with the 5400, whaddya think of it?

hey guys, i used my new every 2 back in June and could kick myself now. i didn't have much to choose from phone wise so i got stuck with the first lg TV phone.

i really don't like it much due to a couple of reasons..the verizon tv does not work indoors most places for me, and I'm in Chicago! but the phone has just turned out to be more of a bother with the side tilting screen...
now they unleashing all these great phones like the voyager..hell even the 3 mega sammy update.
so i started thinking would i be able to renew with any kinda discount once i made it past a year with this phone? or am i stuck paying full price for another phone unless i wait the full 2 years?
any info would be great!

Good morning to all. I have a question for you all Verizon knowledgeable people.
My contract expired back in March and I have not renew contract for the fact that I have not been pleased with the GUI. I know thats a lame excuse but I still do like Verizon, but I am also one of those that I like to learn something new from today's technology even if its a cell phone and their GUI.

Recently, a Verizon rep called me; asking if I wanted to renew my contract and if I did then Verizon would give me a 100 minutes on top of my 450 any time minutes. I only use my cell phone to make calls and text messeging and pictures...I don't need all that mambo jumbo of tv, internet, ringtones and all. I don't have use for all of that.

Ok, so I've been wanting to switch from ATT for awhile now because all my family and most of friends I talk to the most are on verizon...But I have a few issues I'm unclear on...As I see it there are advantages and disadvantages to both companies. Here are the advantages I see for both...
ATT: Unlocked bluetooth to transfer files, audio, pics etc.(LOCKED for verizon). 7 o'clock night and weekend options for ATT, and NOT for verizon. Unlocked phones for ATT which gives a much larger selection of phones, and the ability to travel overseas with an unlocked phone. Data plans are cheaper for ATT (two pda phones with $20 plans for unlimited data). You also have the ability with ATT to download free ringtones, graphics, games, etc. from 3rd ...

Is buying online any cheaper than buying a phone and service in a store? Or, are they the same? I plan to use a discount from my employer.

I know this question has been asked many times but I haven't seen it recently. Does anyone have a clue when Verizon will offer the Treo 755 or the Centro? I do not need nor want email capability but do require the other features of the Treo with the palm operating system. Verizon said to look for it around the holidays but the new phones have been released and still no Treo.

So, I was letting my son use my phone and I realized that he bought 2 verizon games. He clicked the subscription feature, but I deleted them right away. Will I still get charged the 3.95 or will I get charged less because I canceled the subscription and removed it from my phone before the cycle?

i was just in the verizon store looking at the BB 8830. one of the managers told me that he is expecting to get the curve pretty soon. after reading a ton of posts on this site regarding that, does anyone have any updated information if the curve is a.) coming to vzw at all, and if so, b.) when. thanks

ok...so i am elligible to upgrade my phone....i am the third phone for this plan...will i be able to get any discounts or NE2 discounts

So I am eligible for upgrade in a month. Since I am on a secondary line on our family plan, I do not receive the NE2 $100 credit. Is it possible to switch my line to the primary line and receive that $100 credit? The current primary line isn't due for upgrade until July '08.

For some reason, I was under the impression that I could do that and use up the NE2 credit for our entire account.

Any help is much appreciated.

Yesterday my daughter started complaining that her picture messages were not sending...then my wife tried and her phone wouldn't send them either...Finally I tried and...you got it...nothing. Called Verizon. Operator didn't know about anything then checked with a "data specialist" and apparently VZW had major nationwide issues with the network. Calls and texts worked just find but not PIX/FLIX. Anybody got the scoop? System overload for the holiday with people sharing pictures with family and friends? All seemed to be fine by last night around 9pm.

SO if I take back my Voyager and there is not yet another phone that I want (someone said that the V9M is coming out in a gold color soon), will they put the every 2 $100 credit that I used for my voyager back onto my account? Then when a new phone comes out, I can use it then? I don't know if the new v9m colors will be out before my 30 days is up.

online it was only 99.99 and waived activation fee!!! and yes, i ordered directly from verizon.

What is this phone and who makes it? I'm looking to exchange my Voyager for something else and was considering the V9M.

first off, i know that i am being too impatient, but i must make a rant. i preordered a voyager which may or may not be available to ship out tomorrow. if it does, i am told that i would not receive it until next week due to the holidays. i was also informed that the official stores will only receive around 5 phones per store (i played with it at circuit city. the official stores would not show me one, it was under lock and key). so my rant is this, why didn't the vz marketing exec's launch this phone out yesterday, monday? first off, the preorders would be shipped and possibly received tomorrow wednesday BEFORE the holidays. what a great marketing feat this would have been. to brag and show off this phone to friends and family and possi...

Does anybody here have the power to do an ESN change on an employee line for me?

Normally it takes about 2 business days to get it done, im getting my shipment of Voyagers in today and would like to get it done quicker, Im afraid it wont be done till Friday otherwise.


Any help would be appreciated.

I plan to switch from AT&T TDMA to Verizon next month. How long will it take for my number to port? If it takes more than a couple of days, will I be able to use my current phone during this time?
