wanting to get my nephew(hes only 11 years of age) a phone thats got a keyboard so he can instant message and email, however no phone calls(that what his mother and father said). ANY suggestions?

Reception on a treo 650???
For anyone that has used this phone, or had any experience with it...hows the reception? I live in a low reception area, and my 8300 does a pretty good job, but I might be able to get a pretty good deal on a treo 650. I was just wondering how the voice quality and reception are. Thanks for your input.

Good afternoon. I recently activated a Treo 650, and wanted to move my contacts over, but cannot figure out how to do it. I know the 650 does not allow me to use GIN, but I know there must be an easy way to do this. I am currently using the Backup Assistant from GIN for my e815.

Lion Battery Conditioning
Good Morning everybody
I just got the 9900 and I'm aware that Lion battteries need to be conditioned. Typically how many complete charge/discharge sequences must I go through to get my battery fully conditioned.
Also, has anybody converted any VOB (DVD) files to 3GPP2. Are there any tools that will allow me to reset the resolution to 320 x 240 as well as strip out the Dolby DTS/5.1 support and leave only stereo.

FYI In most cases you can tell what the birth date of your plan is by whats in your calling plan description. It will say something like America's choice 0504 meaning its birthday was 05/2004

Pix & Flix No Longer Uses KB! (PDA/Smartphone's)
Starting tomorrow (12/15) PDA or Smartphone users will no longer have to worry about pix & flix using kb's! They will now be covered under whatever txt/pix/flix package you have even if you dont have a mb/data plan!

9900 Turning Off Automatically
Hey Guys,
I just got my EnV 9900 this monday from fedex. I been noticing when i dont use the phone for a couple of hours it will turn off by itself. Has this happen to anyone else?
Since I bought it over the phone can I just walk into a Verizon Corp. Store and exchange it for another one. I still have everything with me and the box still has the UPC on.

Returned phone within 15 days
I bought a phone at ne2 price at the store. I returned within 15 days. When I check the computer to look for a new phone it still says I have 2 years left.
The people at the store told me it would go back to the original date. How long does it take for the computer to catch up? I returned it over a week ago. Thanks if anyone can help!!!

Go Verizon!
I just check under my account this morning it now shows 'upgrade to a new phone' and my NE2! I knew this was happening but it only registered on my account yesterday. I really wasn't paying attention so how does this work- i can cash in on my upgrade and it will reset my contract but I still get the ne2 when that date hits, sry for the noob question.
