9900 USB Sync?

I just got the 9900 and I'm wondering when Verizon will have the USB cable available for it. I want to sync my google calendar to it, but I'm not going to use the wireless sync because I dont have unlimited Internet. Any help on this?

Is there a way to fix the POOR CAMERA QUALITY on the 8600??

I love this phone except the camera quality absolutely sucks. It's horrible. Every picture is pixeled regardless of resolution. Is there any way to fix this?? Or am I stuck with a crappy camera??

P.S. WFG is not an option. This is the 2nd phone I got.

restricting calls

Good Morning!

I am looking for a phone for a customer that will restrict calls to only the numbers listed in the contact list. I know Motorola's new W315 has this feature, and some of the older phones had this as well. I have been looking at each phones online descriptions (in multiple places no less), and cant seem to find another one that currently carries this feature. Does anyone know of another current phone, other than W315, that can do this?

Thanks a bunch!

Sending ringtones via PIX message

Why do some ringtones I send myself sound muffled and others sound clear?? It's pretty much 2/3 muffled and 1/3 clear. Are there size requirements and legnth requirements?

For example I send myself a song that was 30 seconds in length and it was muffled. I cut it down to 17 seconds and it was clear. However on another song I sent a file that was 12 seconds and it was muffled.

Is there a perferred mp3 cutter to use??

IM and Text Msgs

I was hoping someone could clarify this for me. I just wanna make sure I'm understanding this.

"Instant Messages are charged just like TXT Messages so you can use your TXT Messaging package or 'pay as you go'. Instant Messages are not included as IN messages in any Unlimited Messaging bundle"

So, this means, that if I IM my husband (who has mobile web, and I don't), I'd get charged a txt msg fee. And because we both have VZW, I'd STILL get charged because IM's aren't included as IN msgs?

So, what is the point of IM'ing then?

(I'm debating on getting the LG 9900 for IM'ing, but it seems like it'll be a waste of time if I'm getting charged for it, because it doesn't constitute as IN).

Thoughts? Corrections?

TIA.

The END of my thread

Many of you out there have said I should close my threads on Verizon rate plans. It is done! But, before I go, just a few comments, then I'll give you guys the final word. I think the thing that amazes me most concerning the enormous feedback I got on this is the fact only a couple of folks agreed that having better plans on Verizon would be nice. I'm totally at a loss as to why anyone would be glad to pay more and get less for it? A lot of folks never understood it at all, and argued that the Verizon plans were close to, if not better in price compared to everyone else. This of course, is a simple matter of doing the math. You don't need a calculator to figure out that a company giving you free incoming calls or rollover minutes in addition...

Why I won't leave Verizon

Before I tell you a story let me just say that I don't work for Verizon (never have). Just a regular guy with a regular family who likes phones and visits this website mostly for reviews of new phones (The 9900 looks great!)

Anyway, after reading a lot of people on here bickering back and forth about everything from software versions and this that and the other I thought I would tell you why I love Verizon and why after 5 years with them I am still a satisfied customer.

I'm a father of 3 and one day in September I was at a canoe party that my company throws every year. As you might imagine it was in the middle of nowhere on a river. My wife and I work at the same place so she was with me. My 15 year old daughter calls to let me know...

A few more thoughts on my threads on Verizon

This is is it on Verizon rate plans, whether anyone asks me a question what I think or
not. I still cannot believe anyone would stick up for paying more and getting less, but, I guess that the American way! So, a few FINAL parting thoughts.

First, I want to pose the question to all of you who argued so vehemently that free incoming, rollover, and my faves are gimmicks: would any of you, if Verizon gave you any of these plans at no additional charge to what your paying now, refuse it? If you cannot truthfully say, no, then all your arguing against it is hypocritical.

Second, to all of you who argued the prices are about the same, would you not at least concede that Verizon is offering you FEWER choices to save minutes? You see, while ...

Bluetooth Troubles maybe no more - new Headset excitment!

Guys

Went to Radio Shack today and saw the new Plantronics 330A.. This replaces the 320 which was decent.

This mostly pertains to the 8300 people and 8100 people.

I am a huge 8300 fan but tested more than 50 headsets and they all stink with the 8300.

This seems like it's a real winner. I only have it for 1 hour so give me a little time but so far it's awesome.. No echo to the other caller and the call quality is off the charts good..

How about you cant raise the volume above about 50% , it's so powerful.. Which is great for loud envirements..

Well guys, I thilnk this might be the one !!!

More to come later tonight !

Bt Headsets on Ebay

As I searched on ebay for bt headsets I noticed that the Jabra Jx10 is about 60% cheaper than in retail stores, including one in black and was wondering if they are knock-offs or is there something wrong with them usually. I know you all would not be sure but your opinions on this would be appreciated. I have Verizon and am considering buying the HTC Libra in January if that helps.

LG VX8600 & music essentials kit

Is it a must to get the music essentials kit to transfer music from my computer to phone? And to hold a decent amount of songs I would have to get a memory card, or is that what's in the music essentials kit? This will be my first mp3 player phone and I don't want to go in thinking it's going to cost me $30 and come out having spent $100+.
