topic...the lack of a non crippled bluetooth phone is going to make me go to either cingular or tmobile...im just wondering if verizon will ever have a fully functional bluetooth phone...i like the coverage, but i need functionality as well...

Right now, I have the crappy samsung n330. I need to upgrade my phone because this phone just plain sucks ass. Im standing still with 5 bars of signal strength then all of a sudden I have no bars left for 3 min. then back to full stregnth. I need something more stable. Now, I heard that the v710 pulls in weak signals with no problem and the E815. But, nobody know when the E815 is coming out. I can wait a couple of more weeks. But its getting to be a pain.

Background: Verizon has been my one and only carrier since I have owned a phone (7 years maybe) I am due for an upgrade in September and would like to know if you know of any new and exciting phones coming out around then. I am looking for:1+ megapixel camera, expandable memory, speaker phone, and all that other good stuff. It seems that all the other carriers are getting the cool/fun phones that I want but I do not want to switch over. can you please provide me w/ a little info. sorry this message was soooo long.

just came from europe and kinda dissapointed in US wireless industry but anyway.
My company pays for cell phone from verizon. Really old and ugly model.
I'd like to buy new one from verizon myself, for the same account and cell phone number. Old one I want to keep home and give back to my employer if i ever live the company.
I have approval from my supervisor.
How can I do that? What kind of info I need to take to verizon dealer?

BTW i'm looking for model with biggest screen, 2xxxxx colors, mp3, bluetouth, camera, video, java, not big and stylish.

Ok, so I've had a contract with Sprint, AT&T, and Cingular in the past, but now I'm switching to Verizon because my boyfriend has it and we figured we'd save a lot of money not having to worry about going over our minutes thanks to in-calling.

I was wondering what everyone's opinion on verizon is. How is the call quality? Can you compare it to cingular (what I have now).

I currently have a moto V600 (which is wonderful no matter what all those nasty reviews said. It's always worked perfectly for me.) and I'd like to switch to a moto E815. Is this a good phone or are there any others that I should be looking at?

To the people that have V-Cast...

When connecting to V-Cast, about how long does it take? On the VX-8000 it takes 15-20 seconds just to bring up the menu. Is this faster now?

When moving around the menus once connected, is there still a slight lag between pressing the direction and the highlighted area actually moving? I know you can press the number to directly access a clip, but if it's not on the first page you can't really do that.

Has anyone thought of a convienient way to "bookmark" a certain clip that's updated daily? I'd like an easy way to get to today's headlines from CNN, or the local weather without having to click through all the other steps.

I called 611 and they confirmed the rep's statement. Their online policy does not reflect any limits.
I wrote a letter of dissatisfation, stating that I would rather be cell free than hands free. a universal network would leave them where?

I am interested in openning up a verizon franchise store and was wondering if anyone had an idea of intial cost and procedure on this. Thank you for any information you can give.

I currently have an lG VX8000 and am having some problems with it. I was wondering what would happen if i went back to the store and they exchanged the phone for me. Would they give me the 8100 or the 8000? I know they used to do that because when I had a moto t720 and it broke, instead of giving me that one, they gave me a refurbished t730, which was the newer model at the time.

Considering that the 8100 just came out, i think its highly unlikely that i would get that phone, so i was wondering how long i would have to wait to have my 8000 replaced by an 8100. I have been so dissapointed with them that I may not return after the 2 years are up. When I joined with them 4 years ago I couldn't rave enough about their service. I was treated like I was their only cust. Now, depending on where you go or who you talk to, you are bothering them. I am not sure if they are tired of hearing about their inferior products, or their limiting of service, but I still want the service I got when I 1st signed up. I just am not getting it anymore. I lodged a complaint with them today but judging from the tone of voice on the other end, I will not be heard or taken seriously. Ok here is the deal: My friend is on her 5th Motorola V-710 and it is only 6 months old.
Where is it written about the 3 bad phones = the ability to replace it with a DIFFERENT phone?

She really needs a new phone.

I am on a two-year family plan with three lines and 1000 minutes at the present time. If I add another line will I have to change to the new pricing at 1400 minutes or can I keep the plan I have. Also can I add the new line for only a 1-year contract so they will all expire at the same time?

I want to change to a smartphone but most are huge and heavy. I've seen the Audiovox SMT5600 and a friend has one and loves it - but Verizon doesn't have it available. Any idea whether / when Verizon might make it available?

i was walking past a verizon store a saw photos of new lg phones. they had the 8100, 4650, and the 5200. i didn't go in and phonescoop doesn't show that verizon will be carring it.

i also don't know why the 5200 was advertised since verizon already has the 6100 that appears to do the same thing as the 5200.

any thoughts?

I guess that it was just a matter of when than it, but as the article below (Barron's) mentions on the last paragraph on page 1 indicates, VZW will finally be offering a RAZR. Hopefully it will have Bluetooth!
