I could never understand Cingualr's Customer Service "issues" until today. I have ALWAYS recieved excellent and FAST service whewn calling in however the reps at the Corporate stores could use some Customer service training.

It sems unless you are a customer of theirs or they see they will make money in some manner off of you they have no interest in helping.

I saw two examples of that recently in a store and experiened a "brush off " myself.

Maybe there is where the CS focus should be. The commissioned Sales Reps need to understand they work for Cingular and represent the company.

I know I do not count since I am a month to month customer who buys phones off Ebay. But the shabby in store service allows me to switch carriers ...

Okay, let's settle this once and for all...the myth that Verizon has "crappy" phones that can't hold a candle to devices like T-Mobile's Sidekick and Cingy's RazR...
Why is this? Well, I'm sure that any Cingular rep will tell you (and while we're on the subject, what the hell are you doing on the VZ forum???) is that CDMA is incapable of providing a wafer thin phone, and that VZW probably gets off on having bulky phones.

I'm still using my old v60i, which I'm happy with, but the battery is shot so I'm debating whether to upgrade or replace the battery. I don't care about new features like a camera or color screen, but I was recently in a large hotel and noticed that a friend with an LG VX-7000 on Verizon had a perfect digital signal, while I had none. As far as I know, both these phones use the same CDMA technology. Is there a reason for the different coverage? I update my roaming capabilities (dial *228 ) regularly, but we were closer to his home area if that makes any difference. Would a new phone get better coverage than my current one? Hi everyone as I'm reading it seems that some of the verizon stores are starting to receive the demo versions of the razor which is very exciting!!!!! Hopefully this will mean that the phone will be released in the next couple of weeks. Can anyone answer wether or not the verizon version of the razor will have evdo??

And also does anyone have any idea what the pricing will be? Example for new 2 year? Or just the price to buy it outright?

I just recently purchased the e815 but will definitely be going back to the verizon store if this phone is coming that soon and especially if it has evdo!!!!!!!

Did anyone notice now when you send your own ringtones to your phone through pix they get sent as an mp3 and turn up on your phone as a qcp file.

Does anyone have problems with picture messaging, I have five totally different phones on five separate lines and I average 1 to 2 phone calls a week to Verizon Customer Service, due to picture messaging not working.

I'm currently with CellOne (Western Wireless) and they are getting bought out by Alltel. I now have a "corporate" discount on the cheapest national plan. I've looked at Alltels site and that same national plan will be $15 more and 100 anytime minutes less. Not a good deal even with the discount, if they still will offer the company a deal. My contract is up 08/17.

I have had zero problems with Cell One. Never got a roaming charge. Well the phone suxs but that's my fault. (I'm cheap)

Hello, My name is Mike. I am looking for a phone for Verizon Wireless and i am seaking advice. My friend had a t-mobile sidekick that i was toying around with and i liked some of its options[ the AOL Instant Messenger, Internet(so I can easily mapquest directions at all times) and the mini keyboard that it has.] I was wondering if there is any phone with these three options for the verizon wireless service? If not all three most importantly the aol instant messanger and the keybored. Please e mail me back if you could a list of phones that do provide those axcessories. Or if its easier how do you know if a phone has AOL instant messanger. On most phones sites (even for t mobile) it doesnt list that is has AIM.

Does anyone have an idea of the new phones that are on the horizon? I have the lg6000 and i love it but it is getting to the point i need to upgrade. I cant stand how verizon is introducing new phones that are soooo big! I was in my car the other day and my buddy was like "dude, is that a laptop?" reffering to how big my 6000 is. I dont think it is that big but there is nothing out there that is a quality phone and small. Give me the slider remix or something but damn, the LG 8100 is huge!!

Seriously, what is up with the forum for that phone? It is one of the EVDO phones and no one and I mean no one is ever on that forum. I definitely think that forum never gets any visitors. There are like no reviews and the forum is only 4 pages when compared to the E815 and VX8100 and even the CDM8940 which have significantly more. I mean what gives. That phone would be my choice out of all the VCast phones. Are people not liking it because of the lack of a speakerphone? Samsung makes the best phones when compared to the LG and Audiovox and they get pretty decent reception as well. If anyone can answer this I would really like feedback.
