I just cant believe what I got in the mail today... I received that letter you get when you change your plans and the contract changes, stating you have 30 days to go back to your old plan, ect.., everyone that has verizon should know what I am talking about, it seems verizon is always wanting us under contract...

I just looked on the Verizon Wireless website and have discovered that you can no longer get a Local DigitalChoice Plan in my area (Montgomery, AL) any more. Also tried Atlanta, GA area and it also doesn't show any local calling plans. What's up w/ that?

I have tried every cell car. i could ATT, TMOBILE, NEW CINGULAR, ALLTEL, NEXTEL, SPRINT, AND VERIZON.

And I would say with out a doubt that GSM SUCKS HANDS DOWN

Call quality is horrible, but what do you expect from a cheap technology?

Alltel/Verizon are top chrystal clear, and cdma is a much better technology .... and commom you can't even compare EDGE to EV-DO

Sprint is clear .... but common they coverage sucks .... somthing about this 1900 only companies like sprint and tmobile ... when are they going to relize that 1900 only just isn't cutting it?

The area I live in is not a Verizon market, there is Alltel and Cingular in the area though. A new antenna with Verizon as the carrier went up a week ago. On Verizon's website, the shopping section does find my zipcode...but doesn't show digital coverage by Verizon as of now.

Any suggestions to know if Alltel has sold or leased some it's area, or if Verizon is moving into the Wheeling, WV 26003 area?

I was having a problem receiving unwanted spam text messenges(still getting by the way) I have been getting on my Verizon cell phone.
So I went down to my local Cingular store(still keeping my Verizon service) and I bought theto Moto V551 camera phone. I kept hearing how "great" GSM was supposed to be. Well let me tell you it's NOT!
1) During a phone conversation, all of a sudden all I would hear is garble for a few words. I did not like that!
2) Then I had to punch in my local area code to make a phone call, because I was told I was using a ATT wireless tower.
3) I was always having to adjust the volume in the ear piece when I was having a phone conversation.
4) On the Moto V551, it was almost impossible to view the...

I added a line a couple of weeks ago, I asked the CS if my plan would be changed, actually tele sales, and he said no, I would like to confirm that.

On the customer receipt, it says

Price Plan Descr: AM CHC SHR .35 0205

what does that mean, I am on the understanding I am on the americas choice plan, 1500 anytime minutes, unlimited M2M, and unlimited N/W, and I am on the AC plan that allows roaming, not the no roam plans. Do those numbers agree with that?

Right now I have the audovox 8900... Could I purchase the Treo 600 or 650 when it comes out and just have the America Choice plan or am I forced to have the data plan also? I was wondering I would just pay the extra 5 dollars per month and be on express network not the pda plan and the I would be able to have higher speed connection plus cheaper plan.
