I WANT MY E815!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must say my subject line like "I want my MTV"

I have posted this in other areas of Phonescoop.
What is truly going on at Verizon??? The E815 was approved in early January, and best I can tell here is all phases of Verizon testing is done.

Jeez....the last really great phone Verizon released was 3 years ago, the Timeport 270 C.

This boggles my mind

I do not mean to come over here and start flaming. I am just INOCENTLY asking the following:

Why do you criticize Cingular for being the largest only from buying AT&T? You complain that their growth was not natural & claim that Verizon's growth was natural.

Verizons growth was not natural. Here in my local market (DENVER) they had a merger with AirTouch. Verizon was not ever a glimmer in anyones eye before that.

This was the same with other companies also. I think that the only company that was an ORIGNAL carrier, for the 80's, was AT&T. Verizon came into existence the same way as Cingular, T-Mobile & other various carriers.

Please do not hate me for this post, it is just an observation.

Data query for 1x/csd

I've heard many people voice displeasure over VZW's sudden charging of data calls per kb in addition(?) to using voice minutes. My main question is:

Are the data calls being charges for both 1x and csd connections?

Clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The total churn rate, a key measure of customer loyalty, was 1.33 percent for the first quarter 2005, down from 1.60 percent in the first quarter 2004 and 1.43 percent in the fourth quarter 2004. Churn among retail post-pay customers -- representing 92 percent of the company's customer base - - was a record 1.11 percent for the first quarter 2005, compared with 1.35 percent for the first quarter 20...

Cingy and Verizon BOTH suck !!!!1

All day, every day. Cingy lovers and Vzw lovers bash each other. The truth is, they BOTH suck here in Wisconsin. I live in a town of 135,000 and get ONE signal bar strength in my house with Vzw. Cingular works in about 40% of the state and you are S.O.L. in the remaining 60%. So.... what's the answer?

Best Verizon Phone for BFE (for a weak weak signal)

I travel in upper Michigan and use Verizon. I need a phone that can pull a signal in when out in the woods. I know that I should have analog roaming ability with my Audiovox 9900 but can't pull a signal. What Verizon phone (current or discontinued) has the best signal strength.

The Nokia 6255 (or how I learned to envy metroPCS users)

Now, according to reports I've heard here and there, Nokia is supposedly releasing this phone in cahoots with Verizon. I haven't heard anything else in a while, and I wonder if anyone else has? I swear...if I see one punk mock me with his brand new 6255 he got through metroPCS (yes...metroPCS), I'm going to take it from him, laugh maniacally, and probably get arrested.

OH NO! CINGULAR'S ARPU IN THE TOILET... AGAIN!!!!

From RCRNews:

"Despite the strong customer growth and retention efforts, Cingular's average revenue per user results continued to slide, dropping from $51.26 in pro forma ARPU during the first quarter of 2004 to $49.59 this year. The carrier noted that the decline, which Cingular has previously attributed to the popularity of lower-ARPU-generating family plans, was slower than the 5.5-pecent drop posted between the fourth quarters of 2003 and 2004.

http://www.rcrnews.com/news.cms?newsId=22301 »

Cingy's ARPU down 5.5 percent last quarter, and now down 3.3 percent this quarter?!? OUCH... that's GOTTA HURT. 😳

Poor Cingy, they're killing themselves trying to keep up with VZW.

After all, as Kingfrog has pointed out t...

Audiovox 9900 unlock code?

I currently lost my vx7000 and a buddy gave me his old audiovox 9900 phone. It is locked and he doesn't remember what the lock code is. I tried the last 4 of his phone number, 0000, 1234, 9999. All the ones you think it might be. I also took it in to the local corporate store and they don't have a cable to hook it up to the computer to get the lock code. I then called audiovox and they aren't allowed to help with lock codes due to theft. I can't get into the phone. So I was wondering if there was a way to do a master unlock or anything like that. Any help would be great. Thanks in advanced
