I still can not believe how easy it is for people on here, to get sucked into these "flame wars"!
Who really cares who's the best? I don't. If your phone works at all, where you plan to use it, that should be it. End of story.
You people get sucked into these flame wars like you have nothing better to talk about.
To me if a person(s) have a question about a phone or how it works etc.... then ask.
If somebody or groups of people and their threads bother you than do NOT reponse to them. They will then get the message and leave this forum. It doesn't get much easier than that!

Have any of you had any experience with relativly cheap (less than 2k a month) and successful advertising? I have tried direct mail, flyers, banners, signs, receipt tape at Publix, local papers, phone books, and to real success.

Were in a strip mall in a smaller community a lot of tourist (which I dont want to target)

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Figured I would change the VZW vs. Cingy vs. Nextel wars there seem to always be.

Does anyone know if these plans are available for new sign-ups?

So i called 2 stores today asking the same question:

"Can you give me information on the Samsung n330?"

Store 1- We dont know anything about that phone until it comes out.
Me- So you are telling me you know nothing about a phone that is supposed to come out in 3 days?
Store 1- No sir.

Store 2- We dont carry that phone.
Me- I know it is supposed to come out in 3 days.
Store 2- I just asked the other people and they've never heard of it.

So are the reps at the store just full of $hit and not allowed to say? I hope they really arent that dumb and know nothing about this phone. And its not like this phone is really TOP SECRET. The only thing i dont know is the price, is it really that big of a deal to tell me?

I really need a wi-fi phone.

Anyone use 3gupload.com w/ a VZW phone? I thought the only way to get ringtones on VZW phones was to manually enter them if the phone supported that or to use GetItNow. I saw 3gupload.com on phonescoop.com and found the ringtone I want. 3gupload.com has Verizon listed as a carrier and the phone model I have.

Any good/bad experiences with 3gupload.com anyone? Thanks

I work for a Verizon Wireless store. I have a lot of people calling and asking when the LG VX-5200 is going to be available. I haven't heard anything about the release/availability. I would really appriciate it if someone could fill me in. Thanks a lot,

I think Verizon and Cingular should just select their best warrior from each clan to dual each other. In the end there can be only one and peace will be had at last. That way all this pointless bickering can come to an end and many millions of lives can be saved.

Verizon Wireless expanded its popular "IN" network calling plans to its text and multimedia messaging services, allowing customers to send and receive unlimited messages between other Verizon Wireless customers beginning at $5 per month. Poor VZW. Has anyone seen the numbers yet? URPU is taking a toll on VZW.

Hi All! Saw this on our local news here in the S.F./East-Bay area, CA. regarding the numorous complaint's to the Cal-PUC regarding Cingular. Granted this is just one area of the U.S., but there is quite a difference. In the last 6-month's Cingular received 2,769 complaint's, versus Verizon's 379. T-Mobile received less, but they are a smaller company. Was thinking of switching to Cingular in May or July, but now hesitant. Does anyone know about this, and have things now improved for Cingular? Comments?

Does anyone know if there is spanish content for mobile web 2.0 and any of the other services that are on mobile web? I know that verizon advertises to the latino market but I can't find any way to find stuff in spanish on my phone. If anybody knows how to get it or they already have it, please let me know. I currently have a Moto T730 where I could manually type in the ringtones. I'm at the NE2 upgrade time, and I was interested in the V710 and V265 until VZW decided to start phasing them out. Now it looks like the E810 is option if I don't want an obsolete phone less than 6 months into my 2yr contract.

My wife doesn't want to upgrade phones because she'll lose the HP ringtone. I've played around with some phones in a VZW store and tried searching GetItNow for any HP ringtones with no success.

Anyone know how I can get a HP ringtone onto a new V265, V710, or the E810 (when it comes out)?

Cingular Wireless reported adding 1.4 million net new customers for the first quarter of 2005. The average monthly churn rate was 2.2%. The company's customer base now totals 50.4 million. Cingular merged with the declining AT&T Wireless last year. The Associated Press said that Cingular reported a $240 million loss in the quarter despite growth in subscribers, and cut 1,500 to 1,600 jobs in the three-month period.

Lets see them results Verizon.......Looks like all those unhappy customer ATT port ins did not materialize as many here expected.

As the self-proclaim phone guru do you have any thoughts on these two phones? I almost bought a V710 because I heard the reception and range was great...the most important thing to me. Then I read about these two new phones and decided to wait until they come out. Thanks for your thoughts.
