will Verizons new MVNO AMP'D have verizon dependability, i hope so, bt i hope they won't have crappy phones like the LG VX-3200 and charge $120 for it. By the way there are so many cool phones scheduled to be released for Verizon in mid to late-June, this seems to be too good to believe...any comments?

Such an interesting conversation with a Verizon representative today. I went with Verizon only for the Motorola V710 phone which is amazing. Motorola built this phone to be amazing and placed very few limitations on it. Verizon on the other hand has locked out many of the phones capabilities in an attempt to funnel verizon customers to spend more money through their GET IT NOW scam. Using a 3rd party software is unreliable and voids the warranty. Sending your phone to verizon for repair with the software manipulated will get it confiscated. Any information on reliable software which will enable all of the phones functions without the help of Verizon would be appreciated. - Disgruntled with Verizon.

Hi. Does anyone know when the Samsung A970 or Moto Razr will be out (if at all) on Verizon. And do either have analog, as I travel a lot.
Or are any other cool phones comming out soon.

I have 2 lines on my account one line gets an early upgrade towards the end of May and the other line end of June. What phones are due out by that time. They have to have a camera and Get-it-Now. Also can you just tell me which you would prefer Samsung 670 or that Keyocera phone that is a swiverl desgin,and why?Thanks for any help!! 🙂

I was checking out the phones I could upgrade to on the VZW web site and the TREO 600 does not appear on the list. Is the 600 only for business clients? Can I purchase one from Amazon and have it activated even if I do not have a business account? Do they work with EVDO? OK you VZW reps, let me have it 😳, lol!

I'm going to get an EV-DO Data Card... I don't know about VZW plans etc. being a Cingular Droid myself...

So what plan should i go with, some pricing on data, i'll sign a contract doesn't matter... What would the best route for me be?

I want unlimited access and a footprint in the south MS, LA, AL, Fl states. My home area would be southern MS.

I just got back from the Verizon store and wanted to confirm something I was told. I wanted to get a Treo 600 and I was told that I had to get a voice calling plan AND a data plan at about $90/month. All I want is a PDA/phone combo that can do text messaging. I don't want to browse the web and I don't want to get my email through the phone. Anybody have more info on this?

Hey all, I'm getting ready to switch to verizon and i was wondering if they had a phone where you could type in the last 4 digit's of a phone number and then hit talk and it would dial that number automatically if it was on your phonebook. My current samsung A640 does it, and I was just wondering if that feature was still around. Thanks all.

I will be able to upgrade my phone next month or the month after next. I know I can get a free phone or $100 towards a new phone. I want to buy the LG VX8000. I was just wondering is that $100 towards the retail price or discount price. Also, can you order your phone over the internet. And if so will it include the extended internet online discount. If all of that is true the final price of the LG8000 should be $99. Thanks!

I am seeing an increase in the number of negative posts between representitives fighting back and forth about who/what is better. Even worse is this is not limited to competitors, but to reps in the SAME company. It is not a matter of who is better, because the point is NO ONE CARES. No one wants to read this crap and if you have nothing better to do, that is my problem and I do not want to see your stupidity on here, nor does anyone else. We're all humans and most of those involved in this obnoxious crap are working fo rcapitalists out to to make a buck with little regard for their employees, I work for a wireless service provider myself. Sprint offers their service without a contract if you're willing to pay full price for the phone and an extra $10 a month. Does Verizon offer such a plan?
