I'm gona y'all

Well, I'm bouncin. Most of y'all suck anyway. Buy some stock in your favorite companies so you actually have a vested interest instead no life. Especially Nextel18 and KingFrog... Americans are so keen on guns and violence... well your violent minds will figure out the rest... Black Adder is on and I'm gonna take my own advice and Bugger Off!!!!

Nextel 18, let's recap...

Haven't been on these forums in a while, since Verizon Wireless firewalls restrict internet activity. I've been reading these posts however, and have been biting my tongue.

First off, if you and Kingfrog can get in a boat and sail to the middle of the pacific, and somehow we could sink it, that'd be great.

Secondly, Qualquam developed QChat, they also sell the licenses in different regions for it. Just because Nextel purchased the licensing agreement, it DOES NOT mean they own the technology. Different regions around the world can use QChat- does that mean they own it? no. it means they are licensed to use it. Believe it or not, there is a difference there.

Third, who told you that posting pro-nextel threads ...

Total Subscribers for the Carriers. verizon, nextel/sprint, cingular/att

verizon= 45 million
cingular/att wireless= 50 million
sprint/nextel = 42.9 million

----

total gain of subs for 2004
verizon= 6.3 million subscribers
cingular/att wireless= (not sure someone fill that in)
nextel/sprint= 6.6 million (with out boost ).. 7.3 million (with boost)

so based on those numbers nextel/sprint is outpacing verizon wireless by about 1 million subscribers per year if you include boost, which i am. so nextel/sprint is behind verizon wireless by 2.1 million subscribers. if nextel/sprint continues on that 1 million subscriber per year surplus that would mean in 2 years nextel/sprint would be beating out verizon wireless. with cingular/att wireless someone needs to find out their numbers.

Question on 228.

Can my friend in another country do a *228? She is in Argentina, she has a CDMA phone there (not VZW) Most people have CDMA phones there. She has a Argentinan CDMA carrier. Is the *228 feature a CDMA feature or only Verizon's?

Motorola iTunes plans on hold

Delay tied to power of wireless carriers

By Mike Hughlett
Tribune staff reporter
Published March 10, 2005

Motorola Inc. was set to unveil on Thursday its first iTunes phone--a much-anticipated model capable of playing music bought from a popular Apple Computer Web site.

But the Schaumburg cell phone manufacturer canceled at the last minute. And the reason speaks volumes about the balance of power between cell phone-makers and phone service providers, a balance increasingly tilted toward the latter, analysts say.

Please, some help. Moto V710 or VX-8000?

My contract was up in 1/05 and now I am month to month. I have been using my LG VX-6000 phone for almost 14 months and I think it still a great phone.
And I live in Gainesville, Fl. 32606 and Verizon coverage here in all of Florida is second to none!(By the way I am NOT in the cell bussiness)
I like being out of contract for personal reasons. And I have no problem paying full price for either phone.
I know earlier there were problems with the v710, have they now been fixed? And the LG VX-8000 has only been a short while, so there is no proven record that one yet. I have no need for bluetooth or transfer data.
I want a quality camera and great voice reception, but I need your help in deciding. Any help in this matter would be gre...

VZ refused to put me back on my original plan (6035 PDA phone)

I've had a Kyocera QCP-6035 Palm Smartphone since 2001 and had the same phone plan since 2002. My plan gave me 400 minutes anytime, unlimited nights and weekends, and 1000 mobile to mobile minutes for $40/month. I also had something that Verizon didnt originally have a name for, namely a Minutes-Only data plan. The CDMA modem in the 6035 works at a slow 14.4kbps but it works, and with unlimited nights and weekend minutes, its sufficient to use as a wireless modem with my laptop to do some email and very light web surfing.

Last Monday I inherited a Kyocera QCP-7135 Palm Smarthphone - I'm lucky, it doesnt have the exploding Li battery. After two calls to Verizon customer support (the first call got dropped) I did what I thought was just an ...

Motorola V710

I have heard that the initial problems concerning the Motorola V710 have been rectified and that now it is an excellent phone. Is that consistent with your experience involving this phone? Which problems with this phone still persist (other than the limited bluetooth, which has been hashed over ad nauseum)?
