Call Forwarding Question??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I have called VZW Customer Service 3 times regarding call forwarding and I have gotten 3 different answers (I guess I shouldn't be surprised).

My question is: If I forward my business cell phone calls to my personal phone, do both phones get charged airtime, or just the phone that is ultimately receiving the call?

Please help me because I am really frustrated. I have been told that they both do get charged, and also been told that the one ultimately receiving the call is the only phone charged airtime. I had a third person simply say they didn't know and then they hung up on me.

Thanks.

deadcellzones.com

Anyone ever use this site?? I have used it for over three years now and it is pretty interesting. It is an independent site that allows customers the ability to log bad cell areas in major cities throughout the U.S.

Why is the Verizon phone selection horrible...

I look at the phones for Sprint and I think wow... I look at the phones for Verizon which has like twice as many customers and they have like 10 phones. Now sprint uses same tech, half the subs and really cool phones... whats the deal vzw?

Trimode or Dig Only

Thanks for reading my post!

Currently on AT&T TDMA, off contract. TDMA has worked well for many years but Cingular GSM has very mixed results here now - Verizon custmers here seem satisfied - so probably moving to Verizon.

Home, office and leisure are adjacent to major interstate highway (TX IH35). When we travel to rural areas we use a calling card and landline to make calls and check voice mail.

Receiving my calls and/or immediate voice mail notification is MOST important to me. I don't need a full featured phone... I like long battery life and small size.

I've researched, read and reviewed... I can't find a conclusive answer. CSR's have given conflicting advice. Analog (trimode) has been recommended for more outgoing ca...

Verizon has the plan

I just did a comparison on cingular and verizon, as cingular has a decent amount of calling area, verizon has more, it is obvious when you look at the maps, it almost slaps you in the face seeing the difference, so if you travel a lot, verizon only makes sense, you might as well have a phone that you can use in more areas. Good job verizon, keep it up. Now all you have to do is give rollover minutes, be that it may be a gimmick, it works, and give us unlimited calling to the customers home phone, those features would take you over the edge. Verizon just gets better and better all the time.

Purchasing the LG VX6100??

I have a friend in the Chicagoland area who really likes the looks and features of the 6100 for Verizon, he currently has the lg6000 and is ready to upgrade. He is not into all the bells and whistles like the ev phones and he doesn't care too much for bluetooth.

I was just wondering what everyone here thought of the phone as far as it holding a signal compared to the rest? That is what most concerns him and like I said he really likes all the other features the phone has to offer!
I explained to him that I knew of the phone having some software problems but I read somewhere in this forum that they provided a fix for the volume bug! That being aside is this a decent phone RF wise?

Any new "non-camera" phones for Verizon on the horizon?

Contract is up in July...can upgrade in May. Currently have a LG-4500 which I love, but in the mood for something new. Most of the new phones seem to have camera's or PTT...neither which I am interested in. The only current offerings are the Nokia6015i, Samsung A650 and another LG-3200. There is also a Motorola model offered by Radio Shack...but I had a bad experience with RS. Anybody know something that I don't know that's coming up in the future? Thanks! 🙂

Analog Verizon v. Digital Cingular

For many years, my family and I have had problems with Cingular (and Bell South Mobility before it), such as frequently dropped calls, delayed notification of voice mail and missed calls, occasional unexplained echo when talking, and error in system connection messages. As a result, I have now switched the other 3 members of my family to Verizon (which those 3 love) and would like to switch my line as well. Unfortunately, I am the only family member who lives in a rural area where Verizon only offers analog coverage. The voice quality of analog is annoying, due to static, etc. I have been told by several Verizon reps that Verizon is in the process of placing digital transmitters on the analog towers in Southeast Kentucky since they have ...

Verizon's offers for renewing customers.

Hello all you Verizon reps out there.

I'm a cingular rep, who "gasp" has service with Verizon. I really can't help it since cingular isn't available in my area quite yet. Stupid upper midwest...

I know that with cingular, the web deals are generally better than the in store deals, and we allow the customer to take advantage of the web deals when they are renewing if they aren't eligible for any other promos at the time. (and generally they are)

My real question is that I'm going to be renewing my contract in a couple months, and I think some what get the renewal process for Verizon. When you renew your contract (I'm finishing up a two year contract here, and starting another one), you get $100 towards a new phone. I'm currently on ...

New Phones???????

I know that there is a lot of speculation as to the availability of new phones. Specifically, I am looking for a Blackberry 7100 series. I do not want the old, clunky, Blackberry 7250 that just came out under Verizon. The Blackberry 7100 is shaped like a phone and the voice characteristics are great. It also is able to received "pushed" email which is a definite requirement for me.

I have even considered leaving Verizon and going to Cingular in order to get this new phone. I know that a change from Verizon is definitely a step back but I am really tempted.

Anyone out there know of a new phone that will be available soon that will meet my needs. Don't even mention the Audiovox XV6600. I had it for a few days and you can't even...

COVERAGE IN PORTLAND, OR....

I'm getting ready to move to Portland, and was inquiring how the coverage was for this carrier. I'm debating between Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon. Any input is appreciated. I'm thinking of getting the LG 6100 so any input with this phone additionally is appreciated.

Thanks
