Verizon subsidiary in Puerto Rico??
When I traveled to PR, my Verizon phone had very good signal in basically every place I went ("Extended Network, flashing roaming indicator). Now, I understand that Verizon has a very strong presence in PR. Over there, they are called "Verizon Wireless Puerto Rico" and THEIR coverage map is different than the one from VZW USA. Their map actually covers basically all the island. That map would explain why my phone received good signal almost everywhere I went. But, why are the maps different? And why did my phone (VZW USA) display "Extended Network" while in PR, when Verizon's presence in PR is solid? (well, remember...

over worked and underpaid?
Does anyone else work 9 or 11 hours shifts without breaks or 40+ hours with no overtime pay, or how about personal commission quotas that are higher than what the whole store sells?
(just wondering if I am alone in this biz)
p.s. or how about selling returned phones to customers as if they are brand new?

Also, on another note, are there any applications for the VX6100 that can keep track of checking/credit card account balances? I know that the applications on Get It Now don’t do it, but I was hoping there was a site that had what I’m looking for.
Thanks....

v60s and Cellsocket
I am intending to port my home phone number to a new Verizon phone. I then want to obtain a Cellsocket porting station so I can use my home phone lines via my cell phone.
The CellSocket only works with Motorola and Nokia phones.
I want to get Verizon service as it's the only service along the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota (where I spend a lot of time).
Does anyone know if the new V60s by Motorola will work with the CellSocket? I read somewhere (I can't remember where) that the V60s is thicker than the other V60 models due to the speakerphone. When the v60s originally came out, I read that the phone is narrower than the v60P (ptt model) but does anyone know if it's thicker than the other v60 models (like the ...

The LG7000, or the LG8000
I am breaking down and going with a new phone, an all digital, and yes, it has a camera, which, I don't need, but, it is there.
I have gone with the LG 7000, The 8000 has the speaker phone, but that is about the only thing that it has that I would like that the 7000 does not have, my area does not have vcast, and I don't know that i would use it. I went with the all digital since where I am at, my phone is always on digital anyway.
My question is..Should I have gone with the 8000 just for the speaker phone. and on top of that, I am already reading of problems of the 8000 shutting off on it's own, and freezing up. I will be under my 15 days yet, so any information will be appreciated on these 2 phones, I have seen pretty go...

The date by which Verizon must go all digital
Also, once that date comes, what will happen to Verizon's roaming agreements with small carriers who still operate on analog? I understand that those small carriers won't have to go all digital by the same date as Verizon. Assuming that such is the case, will Verizon be allowed to continue roaming agreements with these small carriers while they remain analog?

PRL Update Question
I have been a verizon customer for a while and using my phone in all kinds of areas. However, I just got a new LG VX6100 from my local Verizon store. I specifically asked CSR if he updated the PRL and he told me yes. And I promptly left town. I am now in a roaming area where other people with the same verizon phone as me have service. My only conclusion is that the CSR didnot update the PRL. Is there anything that can be done or do I have to wait until I get back home to fix this problem.
