Why Verizon gets rid of phones that work?
I will start the list out with this phone.
The Lg 4400, phone works like a champ, don't drop calls, and probably works to good, so, verizon dropped it....and the 4500 is not a replacement for it, not even close. And, if verizon kept offering that phone, Lg would still be making it.
What are some of the phone that you people have had in the past that you feel were great phones and probably just worked to good?
Oooo..I want a nice phone, but I'm broke lol
How is PTT? Anything like Nextel?

SBC vs Verizon
SBC is a healthy holding company (despite Cingular Wireless) and can and will support Cingular though any storm...in fact if you care to look at the stock price this year Verizon is down 15% from Dec where SBC is only down 5%
and that is the REAL market talking....Can you hear me now?
The execs are certainly burning the midnoight oil over there at VErizon....they have no SBC to bail them out should they start slipping.....Vodaphone?
Bluetooth Lawsuit
Of course, what I'm about to say is my personal opinion, and I am not speaking on behalf of VZW.
Advertising and hype for the V710 led customers to believe that file transfer would be available through the Bluetooth technology in the phone.
None of the collateral explicitly stated that it would be available, and verizonwireless.com has a page that explains that VZW currently supports only the DUN, handsfree, and headset profiles for Bluetooth. But this page is buried in multiple links. Even some salespeople might have thought that OBEX file transfer would be available on the V710, especially during the hype before the phone was released a...

Does Cingular phone work on Verizon network?
LG UX6000 question
TOLD YA SO........VErizon is weak...
After friends of mine could not get a reliable CDMA signal in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Branson MO, I decided to go with Cingular.
After checking out phones and features and prices, I decided to go with Cingular.
After realizing Verizons' huge network is mainly bragging rights to getting a signal in the deep woods where the buffalo roam...and not necessarily metro areas I decided to go with Cingular
Its been a year, I recently drove from LAs VEgas to Myrtle BEach on I40 and had signal every time I needed it.
I predicted Verizon will f...

New Verizon PTT Phones
new question for the "no roam" plan
I am assuming that this must be true, but, if there is a verizon rep out there that knows different, let me know.
They also told me that on the new no roam plan, that when you are in an area that is no service, your phone will say no service, but, you can still make a call ...

Hat's off, VZW
Bluetooth uses a non-secure radio frequency that spans approximately 30 feet. With devices that are enabled to share data, bluetooth can link up and "talk" to eachother.
So today, my friend asked me if I thought it was possible to hack into someones phone and access their addressbook, phone etc...using another bluetooth device. Honestly, I didn't know if it was possible. With all the talk about vzw getting sued for bluetooth crippling, t-mobile getting some bad press for a server being hacked into we decided to test that theory. Her...
