Suze Orman

Was clicking through the channels tonight and I stopped on the Suze Orman show. She was talking about how she loves everything Apple, that she has always owned Apple products, and that she loves her Iphone but she can't wait until the new Iphone comes out in June for Verizon.

Am I crazy...

Or are other VZW customers having delay's in sending messages to 3G T-Mobile subscribers? 😕

Send messages to TMO EDGE friends, no problem. 3G TMO friends, they get em' like a day later.

Price Speculation

My wife and I are both due to upgrade our BB Curves. I want the Incredible, and my wife would like the physical keyboard on the Moto Droid. I know the physical keyboard is not that great, but that is what she wants. While pre-ordering my Incredible I noticed that both the Moto Droid and the Incredible are equally priced at $199. Knowing that the specs on the Incredible outclass the Moto Droid, I can't bring myself to ording my wife the Moto Droid when it is selling for the same price as the Incredible. Since the Incredible does not officially release until 4/29, I am wondering if it is likely that the Moto Droid will drop in price once the Incredible is available. Historically speaking, does Verizon typically drop prices on an older mo...

The Market Is Saturated....

According to the US Census, the current population in the United States is 309, 121, 117 (for all intents and purposes we'll simply say 309.1 million people).

Here's how many people are with the cell phone companies (in millions):
VERIZON = 92.8
AT&T = 87
T-MOBILE = 35
SPRINT = 50
CRICKET = 4.5
US CELLULAR = 6.1
BOOST = 6
VIRGIN = Unknown

If you add all the subscribers, you get approximately 281.4 million. 309.1 minus 281.4 equals 27.7 million US residents who do not currently own a cell phone. Now keep in mind these figures do not account for goverment assist programs, TracPhone, etc. but you get a pretty good idea of why net adds are down for Verizon Wireless (and not that great for AT&T either).

Only approximately 2...

Voluntary Identification for those who wish to Participate

my guess from reading posts on here is that many posters in this forum are verizon employees.

does anyone wish to identify themselves as such for curiosity sake?

and if you do- what department to you work in?

thirdly, does verizon have a retention dept?

if so, does anyone work in it?

What happens if I block the data I don't need

Is your texting affected in anyway. If blocked I don't have to pay the extra 10 dollars per line right? We do text but do not need the data plan. Thanks and any info would be appreciated..

BRG posted a contest to win an Incredible

And I've seen the comments go from 3 pages to 50 in a matter of minutes. The site is inoperable right now because of all the traffic.

An indication of the Incredible's future sales performance?

I think I'm going to buy the Incredible!

I'm done playing around with nextel and page plus, I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the Incredible. Looks like a really fun phone to own. Who else is pulling the trigger here?

***Verizon adds few contract customers in 1Q !!!!

From:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Veriz...4&asset=&ccode= »

NEW YORK (AP) -- Verizon Communications Inc., the largest wireless carrier in the country, is finding there's an end to the number of people who'll sign two-year contracts for cell phone service.

Verizon said Thursday that it signed up a net of just 423,000 customers under contract in the first three months of the year. That was the lowest number in years, and below analyst expectations.

Its chief competitor, AT&T Inc., also reported a relatively low number of contract customers for the first quarter when it reported first-quarter results the day before. But AT&T did somewhat better, signing up 512,000 with help from the iPhone.

The results demonstrate that the engine t...

Blackberry Bold 9650 vs. HTC Incredible

It will be interesting to see how people decide between these two phones, which are both due to be released soon. I also wonder how the new Blackberry operating system 6.0 will work with a phone having a qwerty keyboard, as opposed to a touch screen Blackberry.

Motorola droid ?

Is there an app to identify songs? On my old phone I would go to V-Cast and could identify songs on the radio but can't find that on my droid. Any suggestions? 🙂
Thanks

Upgrade fee

I know that if you upgrade your phone at our local premium retailer, they'll charge you an extra $15. Is it true that if you buy your phone online or in a corp store that they'll charge you $20?

Before you go Ga Ga over the iPhone, Read This.....

This was an article posted on the Home Page here on Phone Scoop related to a customer who "supposedly" never exposed her iPhone to a liquid environment but yet, her iPhone's LCI became discolored not ONCE but TWICE! Buyer Beware!
