I'm a huge Verizon fan, but lately, I have noticed a dramatic decline in service quality, with dropped calls, no signal, bad audio quality, etc. over the last month. Is anyone else experiencing this? I called Verizon and they gave me the *228 and remove battery for 5 seconds spiel. Neither of these remedies have worked. I have 2 identical phones that are doing the same thing (SCA-A670), so I don't think it's a phone problem.

I am getting ready to get a new phone and was considering a smartphone. I was amazed that VZW wants $44 for unlimited data that does not include text mess. When it can be bought for $20 at Cingular and include text mess.

Anyone know if they might be reducing this in the near future? Over a years time this is a significant amount of money.

Can some people give me your thoughts on this. I am wanting to have the options to use PTT. Verizon is making changes to there service to make it better and I am trying to decided who is going to be better for coverage and service. Sprint has ready link already and working but I don't know how well I live in Wisconsin, With the merger of Nextel are they going to provide a better direct connect service than verizon?

Am I better off to switch or let Verizon make there changes and they will be better word on the street says it will be may/june for the improvments on the PTT at verizon?

I am glad to say that finally someone realizes the point that I had been trying to make for the past 3 months that I have been on this forum and someone has decided to take legal action. Verizon because of your "Great Business" tactics you now got a whole lot of customers against you. There is a way to make honest money and there is a way of cheating people. Hopefully something good will come out of this for the consumers this time because since Verizon has came out with this phone they have been sucking thier customers dry. Maybe then once again they will realize that good business is the means of making your customers happy and being honest. By the way where have all the VZCSR's been? Haven't seen them saying anything about this or g...

I have been a Verizon customer for sometime now and have been very happy. However I am glad that things are starting to happen. I have looked at Cingular b/c they flat ou beat Verizon on plans and on actual coverage without counting roaming agreements where alot is analog. Disabling phone capabilities is not putting the customer first. Wakeup Verizon...Add roll over and stop being greedy when it comes to your phones and give hte customer what they want. There is REAL competition out there....do you want to fall further behind in the game?

Did anybody here hear about the guy who raized a verizon store? What were your reactions?

I am about up with my 2 years and am looking at the vx8000. In all honesty how much better is Verizon coverage over Cingular if you are using an all digital handset since Verizon relies on Analog, espeically in rural areas? Can someone please provide some feedback on whether to just jump ship to Cingular when not including analog coverage? Also, anyone know a timeline when ALL of Verizon's current towers will be digital?

👿 I see that the plans changed, but the VX7000 went up in price (less rebate) by $30 and the Motorola V265 looks like it got more expensive.

What else changed? What gives? What will change by mid-March when I switch?

What is the best way to explain to someone why their monthly charges are paid a month in advance?

Can anyone tell me who is using this phone or have used it. I am looking to get PTT this coming week and I have a question about this phone since no Verizon store has theses in the store to try can you ptt with the phone closed like you can with Sprint and Nextel. And what is your over all thoughts on this phone I am going to get these off Ebay for cheap to get me by untill something new comes out that I like.

My contract on my current phone with Verizon Wireless has ran out and I am thinking about getting a new phone. The only problem is, which phone? I am looking to get a CDMA with Bluetooth, MP3 ringtones, and a high resolution camera. Does anybody know when Verizon will be releasing new phones? If so, please elaborate... Thanks for any information you can provide.
