Rebate Form wireless phone number

Hi all,
I've been trying to call the rebate help number, 1(88😎826-4932, but I keep getting a busy signal when trying to talk to a real person. So I'm hoping somebody knows the answer to this:

I upgraded a phone under New Every Two. Right after getting the new phone, I swapped that phone number with another family share phone (that didn't yet qualify for New Every Two). Now I'm filling out the form for my $50 rebate, and it wants me to fill in the Wireless Area Code and Phone Number.

Which number do I fill, the one used to upgrade, or the number the phone is assigned to now? I don't want to fill it in wrong and get my rebate rejected by Young America.

Upgrade fees...

Doesn't Verizon charge upgrade fees? If they do, how often do customers get those waived???

Kudos to Verizon's marketing campaign

I live in Dallas, and I drove through Garland to run some errands. There was an awesome billboard right off 635. It wasn't the typical "switch to the best network in america billboard, with the guy in glasses," that runs rapant in the DFW. The billboard had a guy sitting on a nice Cadillac with spinners holding what appeared to be a V710. The slogan...."Verizon wireless...we never stop working for your black ass." I can hear it in James Earl Jones's voice in my head right now! 🙂

Great job Verizon! They have the best commercials, and advertising.

Verizon, Cingular, Chicago

I'd appreciate some comments from people who
had services in Chicago recently with
Verizon and Cingular, and can compare.
My old phone is dying, and I thought of getting
a new one under NE2 with Verizon, but ran
into a couple of problems. First, Verizon's
system shows my contract as a 1-year,
although I did sigh up for a 2 year contract;
and I was not able to fix that with a customer
service. Second,
there is no comparable plan available to
what I have right now (Local plan, 1000
mins/month for $45). I hardly ever call during
the weekends and nights, so I don't care
for their more expensive night/weekend offerings.

I hate switching after having service with Verizon
for 4 years, but the customer service rep,
altho...

I want the Kyocera Koi !

I just went the the Kyocera site and viewed the demo for the Koi. It is sweet! They also have the phone's manual on-line. Take a look at it. You'll be blown away by it (if camera phones are your thing)?

Man, I hope VZW doesn't drag its feet with this phone much longer!!! 👿

LG V6100 VS. SAMSUNG A670

For those of you who have tried both phones, which do you prefer. I tried the V6100 for over a week, and was very disappointed with the call quality as well as the camera. I find the Samsung A670 much better as to overall quality, esp. call quality and reception. The Samsung lacks the speakerphone and analog service, but to me, the call quality trumps all that.

There have been reports that the Kyocera Koi has been released by VZW. Does anyone know for sure or have any proof (actual phone in their store)?

Circuit City and Verizon- the nightmare continues

A while back I posted the unfortunate tale of my attempt to purchase a 9900 at a local Circuit City. I won't rehash the details but the nightmare is still not quite over.

Long story short, I returned that phone on day 14 for a refund and cancelled the account. Or so I thought. When I got the bill for that account it showed the full new account charges- some $92. Assuming this was based on old information I called cs to find out what the actual bill was. To my dismay I was told that my account had not been cancelled and I was expected to pay the full amount for an account on a phone I no longer owned. So I asked for a supervisor. She said that I had to physically go to the Circuit City and get the vzw kiosk people to correct my account.

Should or Shouldn't?

I have a general question for the Verizon reps. or for anyone else connected with Vzn.
My one year contract expires on 1/05, does Verizon offer it's soon to expire customers any incentives for them to stay with them?
Where I live in Gainesville, Fl. zipcode 32614 and area code 352. All six carriers work well here. But I'm thinking of switching to Cingular. Better phone selection, more bluetooth, sim cards, less costly per minute plans.
Is it easy for Verizon to keep a present customer or to get a new customer? They have a lot of compitition now, besides that, as I mentioned above, they really do not have advantage here in converage.
Thanks in advance.

One-sided calls and echoes

Hello!

I am a recent convert from AT&T TDMA service to Verizon. I left AT&T for many reasons, one of which was I would frequently make calls where the recipient could hear me, but I could not hear them. I would hang up and immediately call back, and the call went through normally. Oh, don't forget all the dropped calls.

Recently, I have had the same thing happen on Verizon with one-sided calls. Also, a lot of my calls have an echo where I hear my voice being echoed back at me. If I hang up and call right back, both problems get fixed. I have started getting dropped calls, too.

All of this seems to have happened in the last two weeks. I am in Southern California, 92647 zip code.

Any idea why the degradation in service here over te...
