Sanyo 8200 on Verizon?
I haven't bought the phone yet -- I'm trying to find a cheap used one to start with, and I'm trying to get some information on how to go about this in the meantime.
I know that I need an MSL. Once I have that, what do I need to do? I realise that I need to program the phone with Verizon information, I would need to active the ESN on my account (is that even going to work?), and I need to load Verizon's PRL onto the phone. But I don't really know / understand the specifics.
If anyone has done this, or if they have ANY information, I'd appreciate it!
(p.s. I posted this in the Sanyo forum...

Woah, VZW's churn rate INCLUDES PREPAID!!!! Holy Moo!
cripes... INCLUDING PREPAID! I'd like to see some prepaid only numbers....
If our churn is that low even with prepaid flunkies coming and going at whim, then our true post-paid churn rate must be low low low!
Cloning Trimode Phones In Analog Mode...
True or False?

Does anyone have any info or resources for using this phone with my Mac for transferring data, modem service, etc.?
Samsung SCH-N330 when?
Interesting
Verizon Wireless received an "A" for Customer Satisfaction in a Vocal Laboratories report which measured the quality of customer care for July-September. They improved from a "B" ranking in the previous quarter. The study also found that 83 percent of Verizon Wireless customers got the information they wanted on the first call - a "B" ranking in their "call completion" category (what we refer to as first call resolution).
T-Mobile also received an "A" for customer satisfaction and a "B" for Call completion, "barely" topping Verizon Wireless for the best customer service among the five companies, according to VocaLabs. Cingular, AT&T Wireless and Sprint each got straight C's. VocaL...

*228 feature, need help from Verizon rep or anyone who knows?
Question: If I want updated roaming why shouldn't I be able to do *228 from anyplace I am. Verizon rep told me that no other tower wants to pay for a free airtime service so I needed to be by a Ver tower. Well that doesn't make sense to me since I am in an area that doesn't have a verizon tower nearby but "supposedly" they piggyback other towers. I don't want to *228 in an area that has just Verizon coverage, I want to *228 in my area to get better roaming options. Can anyone help?
Enough!
Nation One rate plan?

Just curious
Which Lg is the best for a good signal?
I have a bad feeling for Motorola after the phone and the 710 being pulled already just makes me want to switch.
Any advice for a replacment?
I am not necessarily married to having to have Tri-Mode and don't need camera as an essential.
Need a display for "over 40 eyes"....lol
Any new phones soon??
It's only a matter of time.....
1.7 million net customer additions, an industry record for the second consecutive quarter; 42.1 million total customers; 23.0 percent growth in total revenues; company-record average revenue per customer; 22.5 percent operating income margin; churn (customer turnover) of 1.5 percent per month
Even Cingular and AT&T together can't pull those kind of numbers. VZW will have the market share by this time next year for sure!
Am. Choice and LDC map colors question?
Now here is my take on what they mean, the dark blue and red areas are all digital coverage. The light blue or pink areas are analog coverage areas, or areas that other carriers are transitioning.
Is this the correct take on this, or is it diffrent like the dark is 1xrtt coverage (with data extended networks), and the rest is IS95?
I know there is a Verizon 1x map that is orange for enhanced services. That is not what I am talking about though.
Please confirm or correct my thinking on this,
Thanks 😉
Another Verizon question.... (billing & charges)
