my vote goes to audiovox/toshiba 9900.

Camera/video camera/ spearker / trimode..

great screen display and the best camera phone undoubtedly.

What cell phone do you recomned ? My service has gone bad (in brooklyn ,ny)and now verizon will give me an upgraded phone Any recommendation ? I had the samsung 530i upgraded to lg 4500 ... next ????

I just signed up with Verizon this past Saturday... I have had Sprint for a few years now, and other than not having a decent connection at home, I was happy with what I had.

Soooo, I made the switch to Verizon thinking my connection would be better, and right now I'm pretty disappointed. I can't figure out if it's the service/connection or this particular phone that is the problem.

Both the phone connection as well as the network (web) connection drop out constantly.. popping in and out on a regular basis. When I do have a decent, non-crackling voice call, I can barely hear--even with the volume on it's highest setting. (im not a 97 year old woman, but I'm starting to wonder...hehe )

Has anyone else had similar probl...

Anyone know anything about this phone and when we may see it?

Just wanted to thank all of you that took a sec to help me figure out my phone issues yesterday.

I went back to the rep I worked with on saturday... the 6000 and 6100 (lg) were both out of stock, so I traded my aduiovox 8910 for a LG 7000.. and so far so good!

I had no idea there was any difference in basic functionality between phones.. I thought it was all a matter of which bell-n-whistles ya wanted.

So thank you all, I think I'm good to go now!

by the way.. the 8910 is a trimode... no analog signal to pick up in my area.. and it never flipped over to roaming on its own either.

Has anybody out there figured out how this option works on the LG VX 4500.


Also has anybody figured out how to dial the emeregecy numbers once you save them.

do some 3rd party dealers not have ability to sell the family share plan everyone-has-IN-network calling? alot of the 3rd party websites I see state that the IN netowrk is only on the primary line. ?

Please forgive what must sound like a real newbee question but I noticed on the Verizon Wireless website...The VX-6100 is not listed as internet ready. Is this true...? I would like to switch over to Verizon and use this phone but would like Internet access. All the other LG's seem to have it. Thanks...

V265 and V260 finished testing on October 8th and passed. Some T's need to be crossed and some I's dotted before it can start shipping next week. Based on the V710 it takes maybe 3 weeks from once the phone starts shipping until you see it in the store.

I want a new phone, but want to buy it within 15 days of any upcoming (Not current) plans that will come out.

Specifically, I want to pick up the 9900, but have the option of trading it in on the 7000 within 15 days.

Has anyone ever used these gadgets? Do they work. Feeback please.

What are the coverage plans for this phone? Is there a map on the VZW website?

Will it work in Mexico and the Caribbean? Can the GSM part of the phone be unlocked? I'm aware it doesn't operate on US GSM Freqs.

i have Verizon for 10 months .During the first 8 months ,the service was great . Now, I am getting dropped calls ,cannot dial out , and other problems .Verizon replaced my phone from samsung 530I to the lg vx4500 .I still have problems . Are they doing something to the cell towers ?Upgrading ? A few of my friends have the same problem :dropped calls .
Any information about this

I'm confused about this. If I go to Verizon's website and put in my zip code, they say they don't have coverage in my area. Yet if I go to my local Best Buy, they have Verizon phones and service selling as "America's Choice". Can you or can you not get Verizon service in Oklahoma, or is America's Choice some sort of licensing deal with another carrier?

Does anyone know if Verizon will have the new style blackberry..I love the verizon service but hate how long they take to get new phones. I really like the Blackberry 7100 but TMobile is the only carries that has it..does anyone have any inside info they could share.. 😛

Do any VZW reps in the VA area know if they are going to add a tower here in Southern VA? (Lynchburg Area)? I have had VZW for the past 5 years and got it in Northern VA when I lived up there and now I live down here where there is no VZW towers but I am on the extended network roaming off of the Alltel towers. The closest tower is about an hour away in Roanoke, VA. So does anyone know if they are planning a tower (or 2) down here in the near future? If they did then it would pretty much make all of VA a dominant VZW area.
